The staff was very friendly and professional. The work done on my car was completed in a timely manor. They will now be my family's new car repair shop.

The people at Bishop's are honest, thorough, friendly, and the prices are reasonable. It's always a difficult task to find a solid mechanic, so it's a pleasure to work with a shop like theirs.

I had a good experience at Bishop’s Auto Care in Forest Park. The staff was friendly and answered my questions without making me feel rushed. They took care of my vehicle in a timely manner, and I appreciated the comfortable waiting area while I was there. Overall, the process was easy, and I’ll be happy to return when I need service again.

I started bringing my truck to Bishops about three years ago, and until now they have been the only company to work on it. Between myself and my warranty company, approximately $20,000 has been paid for repairs over that time. Communication regarding updates was consistently poor, although I will acknowledge that my warranty company shares some responsibility for delays. To Bishops' credit, they generally worked well with the warranty company throughout the process. They rebuilt the top end of my engine and had my truck for approximately 60 days. After I got it back, I continued having issues and was later informed the repair had to be redone because of an error on their end. Most recently, I brought my truck in because of a grinding noise and a thumping noise. I was told the problem was a wheel hub, and that repair was completed. However, as soon as I drove away, I heard the exact same noises. When I returned, the mechanic explained that he fixed what he believed was the issue and focused on that. He also stated that he had difficulty hearing due to years of exposure to loud speakers. They claimed he drive the test drove the car but I highly doubt they did but then again its possible but hearing issue prevented him from hearing it i guess. I then took the truck to the North location and requested that someone drive it to properly diagnose the problem. Their conclusion was that the issue could be related to the differential and engine mounts. I scheduled another appointment, and they kept the truck for ten days and they hadn't started. The original problem remained, and no repair had been completed, wo I decided to pick my truck up. While communication has improved with Bishops somewhat over time, I still encountered repeated delays and explanations for why work had not been completed. I have often felt overcharged but continued returning because it was convenient and I wanted to avoid the common situation of multiple repair shops blaming one another for problems. After three years of loyalty, multiple repair attempts, extended downtime, and unresolved issues, I have decided it is time to take my business elsewhere. At this point, I decided to seek a second opinion. I took the truck to another repair shop, and within two days the issue was diagnosed, approved through the warranty company, and parts ordered. When googling and calling other repair shops for price matching, Bishops are higher. If you check the record, whenever they did work, I had to bring it back everytime except oil changes. Best wishes
