  Last year I had the shop put a set of brakes and decided to have the oil changed while I was there too. Got a oil change notification in the mail with a discount so I popped in for an oil change, but they were booked for the day. The Assistant Manager, Dominic had to open the store so he gave me an 8 am appt the following day. They have taken very good care of my car and I try to always support my local businesses. #AboveandBeyond

  My brakes were grinding, I made an appointment to bring my car here on May 5th. Within a couple weeks, I had a metal clanging sound under the driver's side. I had to make an emergency stop at another TireChoice during a work day to have it looked at and was shown a large metal hook that had been left in my car by someone working on it and was told there were no bolts on my brakes. I was not charged for this service but I overheard conversation between employees about whether or not they had the right bolts. A few days later, May 26th yet again the metal slamming is back. I took my car back to TireChoice on Whipple. I explained what had been going on. And the employee told me that the day I got my brakes done, no one authorized to work on brakes was working. He also said that there were no bolts on my brakes again. I assume the 2nd location put wrong ones on and they fell off rather than completely leave them off again, but at this point who knows. They were replaced at no additional fee. I'm very upset that I paid $680 to have my brakes done poorly and that I've been driving in incredibley dangerous conditions without knowing it. I will be asking for a refund and will not be visiting Tirechoice again. EDITED to add I called about a refund and I think the person who answered was the one who did my brakes the first time, not expecting a call back.
