  I brought my wife’s 2014 Nissan Sentra to Harlan Auto because we were having an issue with the vehicle. Harlan diagnosed the problem and, rather than trying to sell us a repair, they actually recommended that we take the vehicle to a Nissan dealership because they believed the issue was covered under a Nissan service bulletin. That kind of honesty and professionalism is exactly what you want from an independent shop. Unfortunately, our experience at the Nissan dealership was very different. They initially quoted us around $800 and did not even seem to take the service bulletin into consideration. I had to specifically bring up the bulletin myself and show them the exact code and wording associated with it. At that point, the service advisor told me he would speak with his manager. What bothered me most was the way I was spoken to when I explained that I had taken the vehicle to Harlan Auto. I was made to feel like I was somehow ignorant for going to an independent shop, despite the fact that Harlan Auto was the shop that correctly pointed us toward Nissan in the first place because they recognized that the issue may be covered under Nissan’s bulletin. I want to give credit where it is due: Harlan Auto did exactly what a reputable repair shop should do. They diagnosed the issue, recognized that it potentially fell under a manufacturer-covered repair, and sent us to the dealership instead of charging us for something Nissan may be responsible for. I would absolutely recommend Harlan Auto based on this experience. Their honesty saved us from potentially paying hundreds of dollars for a repair that was covered by Nissan.

  Schedule an oil change day before… nice to get in quickly…took just around an hour & price was nice for oil change and tire rotation. Everyone was nice & friendly… would highly recommend

  Friendly workers. Had an oil change with a coupon. They give you a cookie when you leave! They tried to sell me four tires that I didn't need, but they weren't pushy about it.
