  I used a store credit to pay $50 of $530 for new car batteries. Then, they hijacked the core deposits. Autozone refused to put the core refund back on my credit card and would only put the core deposit onto another store credit, which I do not want. They did not tell me this in any way when making the sale. This is the first time I have ever had a core deposit issue with a parts store.. Seriously? Can I just have my deposit back please?? The staff is terrible... untrained and unhelpful. You should plan to stand around for an hour if there is more than one other customer wanting assistance. I won't be back.

  My car battery, that was purchased from AutoZone earlier this year and was still under warranty, died. Before coming to this location, we went to two other locations, both of which tested the battery and told us that it needed to be replaced. Those locations, however, did not have anyone able to change the battery for us, so we ended up at this store, which ended up being a mistake and a complete waste of time. When we came to this location, we were met with Barry, who immediately came across as rude. We explained the situation and provided proof of the other locations’ testing, but unfortunately, Barry was extremely dismissive and unhelpful throughout the interaction. The battery somehow tested good at this location despite testing bad at TWO other locations. Rather than making any effort to understand the discrepancy between the testing results or help us find a solution, Barry dismissed our concerns because his test showed the battery as “good.” I understand that employees have policies and procedures they have to follow. However, after speaking with the district manager, we were informed that the proper procedure in this situation was to replace the battery since it was still under warranty, regardless of the test result and especially since we had literal, tangible proof from the other AutoZone that it was a bad battery. What I do not understand is why a customer who has a battery UNDER WARRANTY and documentation from other AutoZone locations indicating a problem, was treated as though our concerns were an inconvenience. What should have been a simple warranty replacement turned into a very unpleasant experience because of the way the situation was handled. Thankfully, we were able to go to another AutoZone location, where they actually listened to us and simply replaced the battery under warranty- the thing that should have happened at this location in the first place. Customer service matters, and unfortunately, that was severely lacking here, and that was thanks to Barry. And just to add insult to injury, the battery was, in fact, bad. Since having it replaced, my car has been running perfectly fine. So much for that “good” battery.

  If we could give 0 stars, we would!! The worst customer service experience! They literally refused to help us! Barry, Barry, Barry!!! Auto Zone, why would you want someone like this working for you? The manager on duty, Frank I think, wasn’t any better for backing up the poor customer service Barry was providing. Lots of other places to shop auto supplies, we suggest skipping this store.
