- LGlarry guerreroSep 13, 20264.0Just wanted to say nice job Topanga, you always have a welcoming smile and your customer service experience with me the other day was an incredible 1, and it's really good to see the store in good hands with good people now like Anthony and Kayla also thanks for everything you do guys, you've made the store a lot better than what it has been over the last few years
- JJJohnJun 13, 20265.0Great staff! The store manager Anthony Parise and team member Evan assisted my wife when her vehicle broke down in the store parking lot. After exhausting the typical store options of assistance, the only other option was to tow to a service garage. Instead, Anthony and Evan investigated deeper, discovered the root cause, looked up the parts needed, and broke out the tools to perform the repair. We drove away very appreciative of their efforts.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?
Expand FAQ item
Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
