I had previously dropped my car off at Jeff Wyler Hyundai in Beavercreek in December. They had my car for almost a month to put new shocks and struts on. After picking up my car, I noticed that the struts and shocks had not been fixed. I took my vehicle back and they had it for another month and I was calling every day with no response. The manager reassured methat my car was fixed because he drove it and when I picked it up the next day, he took a ride with me and we hit one bump and realized the car still was not fixed. Fast-forward another month and I picked up my car at that time. I noticed the air-conditioning system wasn’t working so I had to then take the vehicle back to the shop. My car now makes a loud noise every time I turn the AC on high. When I finally did get my car back After they had it almost 4 months, they brought it to my work, and I noticed that they returned it with keys that were not mine. I also had a dent in my back bumper where it was hit while at their shop. I now have no keys to my home because they were on my keychain that they said that they lost. This was hands-down. One of the worst experiences I have ever been through. My car is now making a noise again and I have no idea what to do with it. I purchased the extra warranty because I put so many miles on my vehicle and now my car runs worse than it did when I took it in in the first place.

Wish I had read the one star reviews regarding service at this dealership before I had my vehicle towed there. Those reviews describe the lack of service I experienced.
My one year old Hyundai Santa Fe stopped working completely and I had to have it towed from a shopping center parking lot. One of the closest dealers was JW Hyundai in Beavercreek and they had performed a recall on the vehicle previously without issue and I had poisitive feelings about the Jeff Wyler chain having purchased this vehicle at one of their dealerships so I felt good about having it brought there. It took more than five weeks to get my vehicle back after they performed work that took about three hours to complete according to their paperwork. During those five weeks I was without a vehicle and was not offered one. I queried my service advisor many times, sometimes I would not hear anything for days. I finally tracked down the service manager who I had left messages a few times but finally had to wait on the phone while they tracked him down and spoke to him which initially seemed to help but still it took several days of uncertainty as to when I would get my vehicle back. My biggest complaint was there was not an expectation as to when the car would be serviced and when I might expect to get it back. Trying to complain to anyone in the Jeff Wyler corporate office went nowhere either as I tried to do that as well. There seems to be little oversight for the individual dealerships and no complaint mechanism when calls to the dealership go unheard. I will not do further business with any of the JW dealerships as a result of this encounter. I have seen the survey responses from management which seems like a cookie cutter response that basically acknowledges they have a problem and they will work to do better. Seems to me they either don't know how to fix it or don't care if they do. Either choice is unacceptable. My advice for those reading is to take your service and warranty business somewhere else.

Over the past several months, I’ve had a front row seat to how stressful and disruptive this situation has been—not just for her, but for everyone around her. What should have been a reliable vehicle turned into an ongoing issue that never seemed to be properly addressed, despite being within warranty. Instead of getting clear answers or consistent support, she’s been met with delays, poor communication, and what feels like a lack of accountability.
Because of this, I’ve personally had to step in multiple times to help with transportation for her stepson—something that should never have fallen on friends or extended family to manage. As his mother, it’s incredibly frustrating to have your child’s routine impacted because a dealership won’t properly handle a vehicle issue. This situation hasn’t just affected one household—it’s created a ripple effect that’s impacted mine as well.
What’s most concerning is the way she’s been treated throughout the process. Instead of feeling supported as a customer dealing with a legitimate issue, she’s been made to feel like a problem for simply asking for help and solutions. No one should be made to feel that way when they’re dealing with a major purchase like a vehicle.
I’m sharing this because people deserve to know that situations like this don’t just affect the buyer—they affect families, schedules, and the people who end up having to step in and help pick up the pieces.
I truly hope this dealership takes a step back and reevaluates how they handle situations like this in the future. Customers deserve better, and so do the families impacted by these kinds of experiences.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but after watching a close friend deal with this situation firsthand, I felt it was worth sharing.
From the outside looking in, the experience with Jeff Wyler Hyundai in Beavercreek has been incredibly frustrating and concerning. Within days of purchasing the vehicle, my friend started having serious issues and did exactly what you’d expect a responsible buyer to do — brought it back to the dealership right away, multiple times.
Despite clear, repeated complaints and even video evidence, the issues were consistently dismissed or not properly diagnosed. Weeks later, those same concerns turned into confirmed, significant transmission problems.
What stood out the most was the lack of consistency and transparency. There seemed to be constant back-and-forth regarding warranty coverage and what was or wasn’t included, which only added more stress to an already difficult situation.
As someone watching this unfold, it’s hard to understand how a situation reported so early on could go unresolved for so long.
If you’re considering buying from this dealership, I would strongly recommend asking very detailed questions, getting everything in writing, and proceeding with caution.

BUYER BEWARE – Jeff Wyler Hyundai (Beavercreek, OH)
I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but I’m sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision.
I purchased a Hyundai Palisade from this dealership on January 19. During the sales process, the vehicle was presented in a way that led me to believe it met Certified Pre-Owned standards; however, it was not certified at the time of signing. A warranty was also discussed as part of the deal.
Within 6 days of purchase, I began experiencing significant issues — including what felt like transmission slipping/jumping and aggressive steering wheel vibration. I reported these concerns promptly and have since returned the vehicle to the dealership multiple times.
During those visits:
* I was told the issue could not be replicated
* The vehicle was serviced (including alignments), but the concerns persisted or worsened
* I provided video documentation of the issues as they occurred
Subsequently, a check engine light appeared, and I was informed that the vehicle requires transmission-related repairs, including a valve body. These are the same concerns I initially reported shortly after purchase.
There has also been conflicting information regarding warranty coverage:
* At the time of sale, I understood a warranty to be included
* At one point, I was told no warranty existed
* After providing documentation, I was informed coverage may apply, but details have varied (including whether it is third-party or dealer-backed)
As of now, I am still awaiting a clear resolution while continuing to follow up with the dealership.
