I'm writing to express my huge disappointment about a recent purchase through the used car department. Firstly the salesman Jeff was nice but when I mentioned an issue while test driving the car (Hyundai Santa Fe 2019) he stated they're able to fix it, therefore I went ahead and made the purchase but unfortunately it turns out that when I left the car for 2 days after the transaction they never fixed it until I went back a second time that's when they decided to look into it. In fact, the car still shakes when pressing the brakes at 40 MPH and up, which maybe related to the rotors. But after talking to the manager of the user car department he was no help at all. I wanted to come back next year for a third purchase and recommend more people but now I totally changed my mind after what happened today.

Searched cars online, never filled out a single form or anything. Brandon at Wyler in Eastgate started texting me about his "budget program" which is subprime lending meant to abuse borrowers who can't afford it. They sell you a bad car, repo it, sell it again - all at 25% interest rates. That's not even my complaint - they are buying my data from people who illegally harvested it. To request a text from a vendor, I'd have to consent to it, I never did, I never interacted with this company, their partners. This is a $500 violation and I'm fairly tempted to pursue it only to see in discovery and expose how they got my information. Repeated incidents are $1000 per incident - they've text me 7 times. Their robo-text machine, which is illegal, doesn't let you opt-out. Replying opts you into texts, this is illegal. I can't imagine making a financial decision like buying a car with a company who can't even respect my privacy.

Thought i got a good deal on a 2013 vw beetle turbo. First they sent all the info and paperwork to the wrong email address which i had to straighten out with the loan holder to make payments but i still never got any info sent to my correct email from the dealership. I didn't look closely enough at the paperwork when i bought it because i went to check my loan balance and apparently i owe $17k on a $13 car! 6.5% interest doesn't account for that much difference! Needed a window regulator the first night i got it too because the window wouldn't roll up, cost me $450 and if it wasn't real cold out i would have done it myself. Don't be like me, read your paperwork and catch their bullshit.

I had a fantastic experience with Erin, a used car salesperson at Jeff Wyler. From the moment I walked in, Erin's friendly demeanor made me feel welcomed and at ease. What I appreciated most was her honesty; she truly shoots straight and provides all the information you need without any pressure. I felt comfortable asking questions, and she was always ready to help with insightful answers. Thanks to her excellent customer service, I will definitely be returning to buy my next car from Erin! Highly recommended for anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle!

UPDATE: I CALLED JEFF WYLER AS THEIR RESPONSE REQUESTED AND LEFT A VERY DETAILED MESSAGE, TO WHICH IVE HEARD NOTHING BACK! I had an extremely disappointing experience with Jeff Wyler Used Car Megastore while trying to purchase a vehicle after mine was totaled from being rear-ended. Like many customers, I trusted their claims about a “multipoint inspection” and expected a certain level of safety and reliability. Unfortunately, that trust was completely misplaced. Over the course of a weekend, I test drove several vehicles. One in particular, a Kia Q4 or Q5, was so unsafe it should never have been on the lot. The brakes and rotors were clearly shot. You could feel the grinding immediately just driving through the lot, and it was loud enough to hear with the windows up. It was obvious this vehicle needed immediate repair, yet it was still being shown and offered for sale. That alone made me question how thorough (or honest) their inspection process really is. We ultimately purchased a Jaguar XE 25t for our 16-year-old son, thinking we found a great deal. However, we quickly discovered a major issue that was never disclosed: the key fob does not unlock the driver’s door. Our son is literally forced to climb in through another door just to get into the car. I thought no big deal, we purchased the 6 month dealer warranty, well when we brought this to their attention, instead of addressing the issue, they ran to pull our financial agreement and argued that we didn’t purchase an additional warranty for electrical components. This was incredibly frustrating, as this is a basic functionality issue that should have been disclosed, or better yet, fixed before the car was ever sold. When I mentioned leaving a review about this experience, they showed zero concern, which speaks volumes about how they treat their customers after the sale. To make matters worse, just a few days later when we took the car in for an oil change, we discovered it has an oil leak. Again, something that absolutely should have been caught and addressed during their so-called multipoint inspection. When my son brought the vehicle back to them, we were told they wanted to keep the car, but couldn’t even give a timeline for when it would be looked at. This is completely unrealistic. We rely on that vehicle, and I am still without a car myself since mine was totaled. My son and I had been sharing a vehicle, and now this situation has forced me into rushing another purchase. I originally planned to buy my replacement vehicle from Jeff Wyler as well, but after this experience, there is no chance I will give them any more of my money. Between unsafe vehicles on the lot, undisclosed issues, lack of accountability, and poor customer service, I cannot recommend them to anyone. Buyer beware!!!
