  *UPDATE 8/26/26 - On 8/14/25 following the instructions of the response below, and having to go through their AI assistant, I was connected to "Nicole". I'm not sure if it was a real person or a bot either. I had to explain the situation again, to which I was given the response that because it was a "home city location (non airport)" that it would have to be escalated to the regional office for resolution. As of today - 8/26/26 - I have not been contacted in any way. To me it appears as though they deceptively make it seem as though you can rent a certain class of vehicles, but when you show up you are left to pick from whatever they have on site which is more than likely not what you reserved - which they show very little care about. Chances are you're forced to make do with the situation, and once they have your money they won't contact you for any resolution. Absolutely horrendous business practice and customer service. I will never use Enterprise and certainly never recommend them to anyone. Original review - made 8/14/26 - Made a reservation on August 1st, 2026 for a Premium Special (Mercedes CLA or BMW 2 series Gran Coupe or similar) for pickup of Aug 13th at 4:00pm. We arrived around 3:30, to which we were immediately offered a number of smaller compact vehicles nowhere near comparable. Not only did they not have any type of vehicle like what we reserved, they wanted to offer a Volkswagen Jetta as a replacement, or an SUV. We placed the reservation for that specific selection for a number of reasons that other vehicles wouldn't serve as well for. To not have one available is unacceptable. We opted for a Mitsubishi Outlander, which wasn't ready and we had to wait after our reservation time to finally get a vehicle to drive. To not have a vehicle within the selection we made ready to go for our reservation time made more than a week ahead of time is terrible business, and made for a horrible experience. We don't rent vehicles often, and after this I would never recommend to rent from Enterprise if this is how they operate.

  Great little office. Hope and Mitch were super pleasant, efficient, and professional. We called in the morning and arranged a pick up 7 miles from the Enterprise office; things went very smoothly. I understand that pick up services are available again, even if we had been somewhat further way (this comes after a period a few years ago when pickup and dropoffs were more limited)

  The $300 hold on my car was never returned to me. I was charged for an out side detailer company to clean my car after return. Their reason was excessive pet hair. I did not travel with a pet! I have proof I cleaned the car. Bank statements proving I was at the car was the night I returned the vehicle. I ran it through the car wash, vacuumed it out, wiped down the arms of the chair and the touch screen dash. I filled up the tank and dropped it off 12 hours early! The car was in the same condition as It was when I picked it up. When I received a message informing me of the extra charges it was after closing so I could not go up and speak to someone. The next day, I called and got attitude from the staff member, i asked to talk to a different person, I was told no. I asked to talk to the detailer who made the decision to source and outside company, I was told no. I asked for picture proof and was told they didn't take any. I asked for the outside detailing companies info. I was also told no and to take it up with customer service. So I did. I am currently on my 3rd dispute and still haven't heard a word from anyone. It's not about the money at this point, it's about the principal. I get a rental from them yearly, I've never had an issue, I've NEVER had a complaint about the way Ive returned any vehicle. I even questioned if they were looking at the correct vehicle when they decided to charge me. This situation has completely changed my mind about this company and we will no longer be using them.
