Scheduled for Saturday, glass was damaged, rescheduled for Tuesday, no call no show, rescheduled for Thursday, installed a very defective piece of glass, had to fight tooth and nail to get that glass replaced before heading out of state, was offered $50 back, had to leave work to take it to Safelite to get fixed, and they never gave my $50 back which wouldn't even have covered the 2 hours of lost wages in the first place and we had to FIGHT to even get the windshield done before we had to leave. Scam artists.

Do not use this location. The windshield on my van broke and I scheduled a replacement for Saturday. The windshield they brought was damaged so we rescheduled for Tuesday. No one called or showed up on Tuesday so my husband called and they were closed. He called again Wednesday morning and they said it was a mistake, that they put us in for Thursday. The guy showed up Thursday and did the replacement, but I glanced out the window and noticed he was looking at it like he was worried, I even texted my husband I think something is wrong he looks concerned, but he put it on and I thought all was well. I got in to drive this morning and there was a huge defect in the glass directly in my line of vision that makes the lines on the road look wavy. I drove straight to my husband's work (he's a mechanic) and he called Safelite. While he was on hold another mechanic came and looked at it and marked the defect with chalk and circled multiple chips in the glass and a bubble on the glass that I had not even noticed. I had to beg on the home to get my windshield redone. They initially stated they had to wait until next week because the glue would be wet(?) and I told them we are going out of state this weekend and asked if they could do it this week. She said there was nothing she could do for me but she would talk to a supervisor. I waited on hold she came back and said they'll refund me $50 but that's all they could do. I said it's going to cost me another $400+ for a 7 passenger rental and all he can do is offer me $50? She said she didn't think he would be willing to cover a rental but put me on hold again go check. When she came back she said they could do it today at 12. I had a doctor's appointment so my husband had to leave work and bring it to them to be replaced and then they did not refund the measly $50 at all because they replaced the windshield. Save your money. You should not have to beg a company to provide satisfactory service that you have already paid in full for. Terrible company.

The work done on the car itself was fine. It was done correctly (as far as I can tell). The issue is that my car sat finished for an hour and a half while my significant other sat in the waiting room listening to the employees gossip, waiting to be told the car was ready. The car sat unlocked behind a larger vehicle in the lot, the keys sat unattended on the counter, and my significant other sat, waiting, unaware that I’d been alerted 90 minutes before that the car was done. I was home getting ready for work, which I was hours late for, as the co-owner of our car sat feet away from the people who presumably knew he was there and why. His phone died. I couldn’t get ahold of him during any of this and no one from safelite communicated with him.
I’m frankly angry that this company got my $500 insurance deductible.
There are a number of locally owned businesses that offer comparable services that I’ll be using going forward and I’d recommend anyone reading this does the same.

Absolutely terrible experience. The OEM windshield had two rock chips for years that never cracked or spidered. I decided to treat us to a clear windshield and felt it was safe to trust Safelite to do so as they took care of a car 10 years ago for me and it took almost 10 years for a new chip to develop. The technician that arrived to install the windshield was not personable at all and was kind of rude. When finished, there were handprints and streak marks all over the windshield but I overlooked it because it was a fairly hot day. 3 days after install, a long cracked developed from the edge of the glass, and spread up passed the windshield wipers. A Safelite technician came out to inspect it and said they will not cover it under warranty because it must have been from a fresh rock impact. When I pressed him about the quality of their glass as even if it were a chip, 3 days later is crazy, he got a smart tone and basically told me I was out of luck. I’ve had 3 windshields done by this company and they clearly do not care about the safety of their customers or the quality of their product. Will never use Safelite again. Do yourself a favor and find a shop that installs PGW glass, as it’s much better quality.
