  Buying a new camper is a nerve wracking experience. My family had an AWFUL experience with another dealer when we bought our first new camper back in 2022. Fast forward 4 years and we out grew that camper. I was terrified that we would run into another crappy dealership and salesperson. I CANNOT over emphasize how good Derek Fraser treated us at Camping World Akron. He was extremely responsive and even took my calls on his days off. Derek was also praised by our inspector for going out of his way to accommodate him. Julie in finance is also super high functioning and went out of her way to ensure we got the best loan possible. The ownership in Akron should be commended for the dealership they run. When dealing with Camping World's you can get a mixed bagged. These guys are doing it right. We shopped a LONG time for the floor plan we wanted; when we found it in Akron it was priced so competitively that I didn't even consider offering less. Furthermore GOOD LUCK trying to find a dealership that is so confident in what they do that they offer a REFUNDABLE, not transferrable deposit. Also good luck finding a dealership that does not discourage a 3rd party inspection. These guys exceeded my expectations FULL STOP.

  Do yourself a huge favor and watch some videos on the YouTube channel "Liz Amazing". We got stuck with one of these brand new lemons and this Camping World (Akron, Ohio) made our life a living hell. No matter where you are thinking of purchasing, new or used, have it inspected by a third party before signing any paperwork. I wish we would have done this. It would have saved us from having to deal with the deceit from this place for over a year and half.

  The service department at Camping World Akron is Outstanding!!! Top notch professionals that keep you informed every step of the way...Insurance claim or general service on your unit..I highly recommend..I have to recognize my service agent Bree....Any question or concern that was addressed ...she had the answer or would get back with me to any questions I had..Courteous, professional and informative is how I would describe my experience with the service at Camping World Akron...Thankyou to Bree and the service department...Job well done!!!   I went last weekend for the “open house” event. Having never been there before, I arrived and wasn’t really sure where to go. Nothing about the store made it seem like it was an event. When somebody finally noticed me looking lost, the man was very rude and dismissive that I wanted to browse around and didn’t know where to begin. A younger gentleman was kind and helpful later on. I guess if you’re advertising an event it should feel like the event and there could be signage and people more willing to welcome new customers. Turned me off from buying anything there.
