Terrible service! Do NOT come here.
I brought my car in to replace two tires, and they convinced me to replace all four of them. Also, they said I need new Brake pads. While replacing the pads, they couldn't remove a caliper, so they told me to replace the calipers too. Just bc they couldn't get them off.
The service went from $800 to $1700. And now every time I press the brake I hear a noise.
Took the car there twice and they weren't able to correct the problem.

I had an excellent experience at Mavis Discount Tire on Central Park Avenue. While driving home, I noticed my front tire was rapidly losing pressure, dropping from 30 to 23 PSI within just a few miles. I pulled into Mavis and explained the situation to Danny, who immediately brought Juan in to help.
Juan was incredibly reassuring and told me not to worry. He promptly took my car into the garage, discovered a nail in the tire, and patched it. I was back on the road and headed home in less than 30 minutes!
I was truly impressed by how efficient, professional, and kind Danny and Juan were. They immediately addressed my concern and provided outstanding service. Thank you, Danny and Juan, for taking such great care of me!

Walked in and was attended right away
Front desk worker Fernando (Yonkers NY Mavis) did well attending me even after being spoken to rudely by an entitled customer. I waited a few hours bc you can never tell how long it’ll take when you walk in. There were many cars before me. While waiting I was spoken to about the progress and concern of my car

Danny and Fernando were extremely polite. They explained work that was suggested by mechanic. Thru took their time to keep me informed of the process of the year being done on my car. They made my experience of getting car serviced not over whelming with prices and jargon not understood by most females. My wait time was not long

I have been a loyal Mavis customer for many years. I recently went in for a routine tire rotation and was told that my tires had dry rot and more than 60,000 miles of wear, so I needed to replace the entire set. Because I wanted to save money, the staff recommended Mavis Touring A/S 2 tires.
Ever since these tires were installed, my vehicle has consistently vibrated at highway speeds between 60 and 70 mph. Trying to resolve the problem, I spent a significant amount of money replacing shocks, struts, and tie rods, but the vibration continued.
I finally took my vehicle to an Acura dealership. They removed the Mavis tires and tested the vehicle with brand-name tires—the vibration disappeared completely. This confirmed that the Mavis tires were causing the problem.
I feel that I was pressured into purchasing tires that were defective or of unacceptable quality, and this experience caused me to spend a great deal of unnecessary money. I am extremely disappointed and will never return to Mavis again.
