Discovered two tires of mine had nails in them and needed a patch ASAP. Was able to make an appointment morning of and they were extremely accommodating and understanding of my needs. Did not try and overcharge or sell me any unnecessary products or add-ons. Very kind and welcoming staff. Will be coming back here!

Shocked to see so many positive review and five star ratings of this location, but most of them seem like spammed "Thanks, Darryl", which is less surprising.
On a Sunday evening, I made an appointment for my car to be inspected at 5 PM that Tuesday. I immediately received an email letting me know my appointment was confirmed. I understand that this might happen automatically, and I assumed I would need to wait until the business opened on Monday to confirm that my appointment was actually accepted. On Monday at 7:58 AM I received a voicemail from Darryl about my appointment. I called him back, and he confirmed, on the phone, that I had an appointment on Tuesday at 5 PM. At 3:09 PM Monday, I received a text from Mavis confirming my appointment for Tuesday at 5 PM, to which I responded "Y" to again confirm the appointment. At 6:50 AM on Tuesday I received an email from Mavis confirming my appointment at 5 PM. At 4:06 PM I received another text from Mavis confirming that my appointment was at 5 PM and that they would see me soon.
I arrived at Mavis at about 4:58, having left work early in order to make it on time. I waited at the counter for a few moments when a man approached me. I explained I was there for my inspection appointment. He rudely responded "You don't have an appointment. What, did you make the appointment 5 minutes ago?". I had the recent emailed pulled up on my phone already, as it said I had to show a reservations number when I arrived. I explained that I had made the appointment on Sunday. He asked for my name, and then admitted my name sounded "familiar". He said that he would need to check to see if they could take my car. He retreated to the garage, and when he returned he let me know "he" (whoever "he" might be...) couldn't take the car today because he was leaving "after this" (whatever "this" might be...) He told me to come back tomorrow. I asked him to just cancel the appointment.
What in the WORLD was the point of the barrage of emails, texts, and a call confirming the appointment for if it didn't appear to be confirmed at all?! Why was this man rude and snarky with me when I mentioned my appointment, accusing me of just having made it?! Why did they confirm my Tuesday appointment, knowing that "he" was going to leave before the appointment would occur? Why did they think I would try to leave work early again to /perhaps/ have the honor of having their shop inspect my car, if they felt like it? If they cannot even manage a reservation system, why would I trust them with the safety of my vehicle?
Thankfully, I was able to schedule an inspection at Monro Muffler a few doors down for 5:30 a few days later. They were kind and quick. Maybe Mavis should take note.

Daryl informed me I had bad struts on the front end of my vehicle, wouldn’t give me a 10 day inspection as he failed my inspection, I then took my vehicle to a close friend who told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my struts, who also informed me they make commission and they’re favorite upcharge is struts. Way to go!! Trying to make money off a young girl (who is generally knowledgeable about vehicles)
