  I had an amazing experience renting a car here! My recent car rental experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked into the rental office, I was greeted with friendly and professional service. Kevon, the agent who assisted me, was excellent. He made the entire check-in process smooth and fast, clearly explaining all of my options without any pressure or hidden surprises. He was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to explain the different vehicle options so I could make the best choice for my trip. The car was clean, ready to go, and in fantastic condition. I felt safe and confident driving it, which made my trip that much more enjoyable. Outstanding customer service from start to finish. “A special thank-you to Kevon” for making the entire experience easy and stress-free. I will definitely rent from them again!

  READ YOUR RENTAL AGREEMENT. TAKE PICTURES AND VIDEOS OF THE VEHICLE BEFORE YOU LEAVE. DO NOT SKIP THIS. My experience with the Sixt White Plains location was extremely concerning. I dealt with Kevon, Luis, and Leslie, and there were serious issues involving the rental rate, additional charges, management communication, and a damage claim. I originally had a rental rate of approximately $90 per day. I was repeatedly told that a smaller vehicle was available and was specifically asked to come into the location because of that vehicle. I verified multiple times that it was available before going there. When I arrived, I was suddenly told the smaller vehicle was no longer available. Because of that, I had to extend my existing rental for three additional days. That’s when my rate went from approximately $90 per day to $174 per day, and I was ultimately charged approximately $178 per day. I was also charged over $600 in additional charges that I did NOT authorize, which I questioned and disputed. Here is where the situation became even more concerning. When I confronted Kevon about the additional charges and told him that I was contesting the charges and taking the matter to management, a damage claim was subsequently placed against me. What they apparently did not know was that I had taken pictures of the vehicle when I received it. The vehicle already had significant pre-existing damage when I received it, including damage that was clearly documented in my photographs. I had time-stamped evidence showing the condition of the vehicle before I had possession of it. Those photographs were critical because the damage allegation appeared to be an attempt to pin pre-existing damage on me, despite the fact that I had documentation showing the vehicle’s condition when I received it. The damage dispute was ultimately canceled. I am extremely glad I documented the vehicle because without those photographs, I could have been left trying to defend myself against a damage claim for damage that was already there. I also asked to speak with management. Instead, I was given the same number that had already been answering my calls, while being told it was supposedly a completely different number. That only made the situation more frustrating. My advice to anyone renting from this location: READ EVERY LINE OF YOUR AGREEMENT. TAKE PICTURES OF EVERY SINGLE DAMAGE BEFORE YOU DRIVE AWAY. TAKE A VIDEO OF THE ENTIRE VEHICLE. DOCUMENT THE MILEAGE AND FUEL LEVEL. SAVE EVERY RECEIPT, MESSAGE, AND EMAIL. Do not assume that everything will be handled correctly after you return the vehicle. Protect yourself with your own documentation. I have retained my time-stamped photographs, rental agreements, charge records, correspondence, and documentation regarding the canceled damage claim. Going from approximately $90/day to $174–$178/day, being charged over $600 in charges I did not authorize, and then having a damage claim placed against me after I said I was contesting the charges and escalating the matter to management is an experience I will not forget. I would not recommend the Sixt White Plains location based on my experience.

  Absolutely most disgusting company I’ve ever dealt with- I booked a regular car. They had NOTHING available then decided to to charge $350 extra for a choice upgrade. “Choice” we never asked for this- complete scam artists. And when the car had a problem they ignored ALL our calls. I highly recommend going to Avis or enterprise. They are complete scammers.

  One of the Best Car Rental Experiences I’ve Ever Had Over the years, I’ve rented cars countless times, but never has the entire process been this fast, effortless, and enjoyable. I reserved a vehicle in one class and received an upgrade upon arrival. The paperwork took only a few seconds no waiting, unnecessary questions, or pressure to purchase additional services. Everything was handled so professionally that I left the rental location in a fantastic mood. I’m not sure whether this comes from SIXT’s service standards or from the people who work here. Most likely, it’s a combination of both. This is exactly what modern premium service should feel like: easy, convenient, and better than the customer expects. I’m very happy that SIXT has opened a location inside the Sonesta hotel in White Plains. I frequently have guests who need rental cars, and now I know exactly where to send them. I would also like to mention how stylish and polished the SIXT uniform looks on the team, especially Leslie. She gave a true masterclass in customer service, completing everything within seconds and turning an ordinary car rental into a memorable experience. Thank you to SIXT and the entire White Plains team for the outstanding service and for giving me such a genuine feeling of happiness!
