Oil Change Services

Oil is the lifeblood of every standard vehicle on the road. It's crucial to regularly check your oil and schedule oil change service for your car to ensure it runs properly. Regular service also allows us to check for leaks in your engine that could shorten your vehicle's lifespan and lead to other avoidable problems.

Tire Rotation

Rotating your vehicle's tires is important for maintaining and managing treadwear on your tires, and in some cases is required in order to preserve your tires' warranty.

Brakes Service & Repair

Regular brake inspections help you to know when to service your brakes and can save you money by finding needed repairs before they become severe.

Mufflers & Exhaust

We can service, replace, and repair exhaust systems, catalytic converters, tailpipes, and mufflers. Ensuring these systems are working properly is key to elongating the life of your vehicle and maintaining optimal performance.

Wheel Alignment

Proper wheel and tire alignment helps your car's tires last longer, increases fuel economy, and improves your vehicle's handling. Our highly-trained tire alignment experts are ready to provide you the reliable, quality service you need to get back on the road.

Shocks, Struts & Suspension Replacement

Your vehicle's shocks, struts, and suspension are key components to ensure your vehicle's performance and a more comfortable ride. As such, it's important to properly maintain these components on your vehicle.

Car Battery Replacement and Installation

Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples. Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.

TPMS Sensor Replacement

There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

I went to this Mavis yesterday for a tire rotation on my 2026 Tesla. All four tires are the same size, and the owner’s manual specifies that the rear tires move straight to the front and the front tires cross to the opposite rear sides. The technician, Tyler, was clearly inexperienced and took about 10 minutes just to remove the hubcap and first wheel. Carlos at the front desk told me Tyler had just started and gets nervous when people watch him. Tyler himself was polite and professional. The real problem was Anthony and Walter. When I pointed out that Tyler was rotating the tires clockwise instead of following the Tesla manual, Anthony told me, “You can’t tell the technician where to put your tires” and “Don’t tell the tech what to do.” Later, Walter told me, “This is how we do it at Mavis,” and when I again explained what the owner’s manual says, he responded, “If you want your work done properly, you’ve got to go to Tesla.” That comment says everything. Carlos was professional throughout, and Tyler was respectful despite being inexperienced. Anthony and Walter, however, were rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I will not return to this location.

All staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would like to take the time to highlight one star of an employee at this mavis location in particular . Anthony is always extremely helpful . He always has a pleasant welcoming demeanor and is always willing to help. I have taken all the vehicles in my home to this mavis countless times and he goes above and beyond to help me out! Many places these days no longer value customer service but it is a breath of fresh air to still find a place where you are assisted with a sense of urgency and respect.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Mavis location and would not recommend it to anyone who values their time or expects their vehicle to be handled by knowledgeable, competent staff. I got three flat tires on White Plains Road, directly across from this store, and had my vehicle towed here. When I explained what happened, Carlos, one of the managers, actually joked, “Well, you know, that’s how we stay in business, haha.” Considering the circumstances, I found that comment incredibly unprofessional. I explained multiple times that I was filing a claim through my tire warranty and specifically needed photos of the DOT numbers and tread life for each damaged tire. Despite repeatedly asking, I was only provided the necessary photos for one tire. Even worse, they initially diagnosed only two of the three damaged tires. The day before I was supposed to pick up my vehicle, I received a call telling me I would have to wait several additional days because they had failed to diagnose the third tire during the initial inspection and needed to order the additional tire. Because I was not provided the requested photo documentation, my warranty company did not compensate me for two of the tires due to the lack of photographic evidence. Had I been able to take the required pictures myself, I absolutely would have. Instead, I relied on the shop and repeatedly asked the staff for something as simple as photos of the tires before they were handled. Between the poor communication, incomplete initial diagnosis, failure to provide the requested documentation, and the inappropriate comment from management, this entire experience was extremely frustrating and ultimately cost me money. What makes it even more disappointing is that this was already my second time returning to this location within just a few months. As a manager myself, I would never allow a customer’s situation to be handled this way. I gave this location another opportunity, but after this experience, I’d rather take my business to one of their competitors.

I had a very bad experience with Mavis: 1. I went in to get a new tire. It was expensive. It was constantly flat over the next few weeks. 2. I took it back in and they said it was a problem with the rim. The said they would fix it for free. They did. Then they tried to charge me (which they agreed not to do). 3. Within days, the tire had developed a bubble. It was so severe that the care would not pass inspection. I took it in -- they were kind of insulting about it -- offered me 15% off a new tire. They sold me a lemon and would not stand by their product. 4. I wrote a letter to Mavis corporate. I sent it to two different entities in their corporate office, including a very high up -- they did not respond. It has been over two months since that letter was sent. I waited to write this review seeking a response. None ever came. A long relation with this company is now over. Sad ending to what had been a fine relationship. They just didn't care to help.

Another classic Mavis bait and switch story. Tell me if you’ve heard this one before… I ordered four tires (web site said “in stock”) from the White Plains, NY store. When I arrived, they weren’t in stock. Guy at front desk said they never were in stock and no stores in the area had them either. Ugh. He tried to sell me some crappy high-margin Mavis tires instead. When I said no, he tried to upsell me some premium “smooth ride” tires; I told him I needed all weather tires for the winter, what with my kids driving. He didn’t know the difference between the tire types (or was feigning ignorance) so I had to show him online. He apologized and offered to order the tires I wanted (but said it would be a wait) with no discount for the inconvenience. I mean, this is a national tire chain operating in the northeast with zero all weather tires in stock??? He joked that I could go to Pepboys, and then noted that Mavis now owns Pepboys. It didn't help that it took 20 minutes to figure this all out because his computer system was “slow.” How this place operates is a mystery. Zero effort to keep my business. Man, the people in the waiting room looked miserable and cranky. Maybe they’re willing to suck it up. I so wanted to believe. Anyway, shame on me for not sticking with Costco. Anyway, you’ve been warned!
