I went to Mavis because I had a nail in one of my tires. They said it couldn't be fix because of how the nail went in and I didn't want to buy a new tire then without comparing the prices. However, they were nice enough to put air in my tire and didn't charge for looking at it. The person at the desk was very cordial.

Last night I caught a flat tire around the Melville area and had to get my car towed. From the first moment i called and spoke with the manager he was super helpful , got my new tire reinstalled in less than a day. Thank you to the crew especially for working in this heat. It’s not easy.

I made an appointment for 4:00 PM at Mavis Tires in Westbury for what should have been a simple tire replacement. It is now 6:00 PM, and my vehicle still hasn’t even been touched.
The most disappointing part wasn’t just the delay—it was the complete lack of communication or apology from the staff. If there was an issue or they were running behind, a simple update or acknowledgment would have gone a long way.
Because of this delay, I had to miss an important meeting I had scheduled for this evening. Making an appointment should mean something, and customers’ time should be respected.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location. Poor customer service, poor communication, and no regard for customers’ schedules.
