  Monro Auto Service was excellent. They were very upfront about the wait time and at one point I left. I called back an hour later and they got me in within 30 minutes of me calling. It was for a simple state inspection, but they were extremely professional and very friendly! I highly recommend them! They are located on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst, New York.

  I had an appointment for 9:30, they took my truck in promptly at 9:30. I was having an oil change and complimentary tire rotation. All went fine, took about an hour to do this procedure. I was ok with what was done, however when checking out, I was charged for tire balancing (of which I did not ask for), which was more than my oil change. I only had 6K on my tires and had no issues so was a little upset that I was not asked prior to balancing my tires. I paid for the service since it was done and I am sure it was done properly. So lesson learned on this one.

  Monroe Auto Services and Tire Centers did a great job on my car. I needed an inspection, oil change and a gas pedal replacement. They were not too expensive. They told my husband that we would need two new tires to pass inspection. This would have been an unexpected cost and Chuck made the price of the gas pedal lower in order for us to afford the two tires. Then, we had to drive the car for 10 days before we could get the new inspection sticker. When we had to go back, the re-inspection only cost $10 dollars. I will definitely go back to them for any similar car maintenance issues and I recommend anyone to go to them.

  I took my vehicle in for an inspection and tire rotation. They passed my vehicle for the inspection and did the tire rotation. A week later I got a flat tire and it was reading that it was the back tire but it was actually the front tire so they didn't do the tmps to reset the tire reading when they did the tire rotation. So when I took it back there for a new tire, I told them that it needed to be done. I was charged for the tmps but it still isn't reading the tire pressure properly. Also my car has 57,000 miles on it and I really thought that it needed new brakes since the brakes have never been replaced on it but they passed it for inspection. I told them about a scraping sound that I was hearing but they never checked in on it. Needless to say it's only been 3 weeks since they passed my car for inspection and the brake pads were worn down to the medal and the rotors were shot due to medal on medal. Do not take your vehicle here! Fixed the brakes myself due to the scraping noise getting worse by the day

  Went for a simple inspection. They advised it failed as I needed new rear brake pads and rotors, which I knew was incorrect as I just cleaned and re greased them the week before. I declined their offer to replace them. When they brought the car back out I found the tech had hit the bottom door molding with the lift and it was scratched on the bottom and no longer completely attached to my car. I start getting a little upset because I’m very particular about my vehicles. After another guy starts getting a little aggressive with me asking if I want them to fix it or not, I said yes, to which he used a pry tool and ended up putting 3 small dings along the bottom of my door. I ended up getting my car inspected elsewhere. They clearly were trying to make a few bucks on a BS service. All I wanted was a simple inspection, instead I wasted an hour of my life, 20 bucks and damage to my vehicle for nothing.
