  My first time going to and instant oil change place Iv always had it done my mechanic but this was an urgent thing. Rating would’ve been lower if not for Corey, he was very sweet and had a conversation with me while getting my oil change. The other worker Jimmell on the other hand was very rude. I get it’s hot and he’s probably exhausted but that’s no excuse to be as condescending and mean to me as he was.

  I have been a Valvoline customer for years and have had fairly positive experiences. In fact, I appreciated the team at the Vestal location so much that I even had food delivered on occasion as a thank-you for their excellent service. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has completely changed my perception of this company. Recently, my husband brought our 2019 Honda Accord to Valvoline for a transmission fluid flush, trusting that the service would be performed correctly. Afterward, the vehicle sat unused over Memorial Day weekend while we were out of town. Shortly after driving, the check engine light came on and a transmission sensor code appeared. I immediately took the vehicle to the dealership for diagnosis. Their technicians found that the transmission sensor had been damaged and that the damage had caused a fluid leak. Given the timing and findings, I filed a claim with Valvoline and was told that a representative would contact the dealership to gather additional information. About a week later, I spoke with June regarding the claim. Not only was she dismissive and unprofessional, but she informed me that photos show the issue was “pre-existing” and that my claim was being denied. Although I strongly disagreed, knowing my vehicle had never experienced transmission issues before this service, I initially accepted the decision and moved on. However, after speaking directly with the dealership, I learned something far more concerning: no one from Valvoline had ever contacted them, spoke to them, or inspected my vehicle. This directly contradicts the explanation I was given. June referenced photos and evidence supposedly showing a pre-existing issue, yet the dealership confirmed that no Valvoline representative had ever examined the vehicle. If that is true, then the basis for denying my claim appears to be entirely unsupported and fabricated. At that point, my concern shifted from the damaged vehicle to the integrity of the claims process itself. If decisions are being made without contacting repair facilities, reviewing evidence, or inspecting vehicles, customers have every reason to question the fairness and legitimacy of those decisions. Since then, I have submitted additional documentation supporting my claim, only to have it repeatedly denied by June. I have also requested multiple times to speak with a supervisor or member of upper management, yet I have received no response whatsoever. What began as a simple service visit has turned into an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. After years of loyalty to Valvoline, I expected accountability, transparency, and a genuine effort to investigate the situation. Instead, I have encountered poor communication, a lack of follow-through, and what appears to be a claims process that was never properly conducted. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend Valvoline with confidence. Longtime customers deserve better treatment, especially when legitimate concerns are raised

  The staff was very professional and attentive. They actually rectified to mistakes from previous work done on my vehicle. I am totally satisfied with their work.
