  I wasnt going to write this because I hate bashing local businesses but this Monroe needs to do better. This place has gone down hill. I first visited 3 years go and had no issue. The first time I noticed the change was when I went about 5 months ago and there were little kids running around the bay area where they fix cars... no only is it dangerous but so unprofessional. This isn't a tiny neighborhood family garage at your house. Lastly I was booked on a Saturday to get breaks done. When I spoke to the agent I asked would this be OK to do Saturday because it was july 4th, she said yes and she'd have the store manager call me to confirm what she already told me. He never called btw. I show up Saturday for my booked appointment only to be told their carriers arent working so they cant do breaks. I asked so why would they tell me to come? The front desk person told me "oh they tell you what you want to hear". Thats complete bull crap! So unprofessional. I called and was able to get booked that same Saturday at the Monroe in camillus with no issue and carriers working since they were open. If you need service at this point just go to camillus. Much better environment. They greet you when you walk in, unlike the associates at the one on Onondaga Blvd in western lights. The place is denji and gives the worst vibe. No jist no. Whoever took over this place needs to let it go. The place runs terribly 😔

  Made an 11am appointment for back brakes. Was told I also needed a front stabilizer link, that’s fine. 4 hours later, I’m still waiting for my vehicle…. I was told when I made the appointment it would take about an hour. Definitely not coming back.

  Very disappointed. Took my car here to be looked over because I had standing water on the floorboards. I was told my heater core was bad and I needed to spend a couple thousand to get it fixed. They then said they would contact me back when they found one of their garages that could do it. I was never contacted again and when I did call, I was given the run around. I got it into my regular mechanic after a month of driving it in the heat with no coolant loss or overheating, just reoccurring standing water. I was told to ac drain was clogged. It was fixed, at no cost, and I was sent happily on my way. Monroe never even looked at my car and I know that because there was no coolant leak whatsoever. This is AFTER giving them a second change when they ZIP TIED my husband's new fuel filter and lines to the old one leaving it hanging down so it ripped back out. DO NOT GO HERE. WORST MECHANICS IN SYRACUSE

  Any other time I go it's pretty good but I go for an inspection and the guy brings to my attention stuff that has nothing to do with a NYS inspection. Ya'll really need to find someone who is more knowledgeable on inspections because a car doesn't fail inspection for having surface rust on the rotors or a bad oil plug.

  Absolutely terrible, was supposed to have an appt the friday the week before, when I showed up they were closed at 8:45am due to no manager arriving, when I made another appointment a week later they charged me 145$ for an oil change (battery check, that I didnt ask for or need) and an inspection that they claimed wouldn't pass and was going to cost over $1000 to get it to pass, they claimed tie Rods even though they only quoted tie Rods at 225 plus labor and brakes also quoted at 125 maybe?? Soo where the 1000 came from? Not sure but I didnt get it done because I will be getting a second quote...absolutely terrible service , 3 of them were eating subway on counter when I walked in..just disgusting
