  The car I rented was clean and acceptable, except it needed windshield washer fluid. Other than that, it drove real well and was a comfortable drive.

  As a German, I always book my rental cars with Alamo and am thoroughly satisfied. Why? Unlike in the US, car insurance in Germany is tied to the vehicle rather than the driver; consequently, you need the full insurance package when renting a car in the States. When I book with Alamo in Germany, the necessary insurance package is automatically included. It’s a no-brainer. This time, I used the online pre-check-in for the first time, and I’ve never picked up a car as quickly as I did here at Syracuse Airport. After a long flight, I was warmly welcomed by Joy and Gavin at the Alamo counter and had a nice, almost-new Dodge RAM within five minutes. To me, Alamo feels like family—a bit like coming home. Great people and good cars... 5 stars for Alamo Syracuse, and thanks to Joy and Gavin for the friendly welcome to the States.

  We had to deal with upstate New York weather causing us delays and airport/flight changes. We rented a car through Alamo, in Rochester, to be returned to Rochester. When our flight was delayed causing us to miss our connection, we had to pivot to flying out of Syracuse airport. We called Alamo on the phone and told them the situation, they said it would cost us $400 more. We were unhappy about this, and the customer service rep said to speak with someone when we return the car. Upon dropoff, we were met by Brendan and Bryce. They also saw the same number on their end, but rather than charge us that amount, they did something and we did not get charged an extra dollar. We were super stressed about our flights not making it out, and Brendan and Bryce eliminated a major problem we were facing. Thanks to both of you, I highly recommend renting a car from Alamo to enjoy beautiful upstate New York.

  My husband accidentally left behind a baseball signed by all of my son's teammates from his Cooperstown, NY tournament (July 5–12, 2026). It is truly a once-in-a-lifetime keepsake, so we were devastated when we realized it was missing. After filing a lost and found claim with Alamo, we received several emails saying the item had not been located. Then today, we got an incredible phone call from Dino Gardino. He initially called to say he thought he had found the baseball, but unfortunately it turned out to be the wrong one. Instead of giving up, Dino kept looking. Just 30 minutes later, he called back with the amazing news that he had found the correct baseball! We are beyond grateful for the time, care, and determination he showed in tracking down such a meaningful item. To make the experience even more incredible, he offered to overnight ship it to us in Florida at no cost. Dino went far above and beyond what anyone could have expected. His kindness, dedication, and outstanding customer service turned a heartbreaking situation into an unforgettable one. Alamo is truly fortunate to have an employee like Dino. Thank you for helping return a priceless memory to our family!
