  Used Alamo via Hopper as my go to car rental wasn't competitively priced for the dates I was traveling. My experience at Hancock International Airport (SYR) was a pleasant one. Greeted professionally by staff, my check in process was quick (I did sign up via the Alamo app to expedite the process) and easy. My exact car choice wasn't available (convertible Mustang in early May, Syracuse NY, lol no surprise 😉😆) but was provided a convertible Miata that was equally as fun. Turning the car in was easy as an employee greeted me, checked the car over quickly and emailed me my receipt. I'll be giving them a shot at my 9 day rental in December.

  The van we rented most recently was AMAZING. Looked and drove like it was brand new and was incredible on gas. The employees at pick up and drop off were incredibly friendly and helpful. You’d think at an airport location they’d be at least a little harried and jaded, but nope not at all! Super nice people every time. We’ve rented from them pretty much every trip we’ve taken and it’s always such a good experience- can’t believe I hadn’t written a review yet. 5/5, will definitely rent again!

  I would give these losers a negative score… Alamo takes you credit card info and gives you the middle finger when you try to dispute illegal charges… I paid for toll road device and then they charge you again and then they top off another charge from out of state…. It’s a disgusting company with disgusting customer service…. Better take uber than deal with these…. No respect for my time in their mistakes, I’ll go through my credit card company and dispute these losers As you can see their response, please waste more of your time chasing those problems ( I was nearly a hour on the phone listening to nasty don’t care attitudes) that we handed for you. Please contact your customer (me)and value their time, thank you. - I’m embarrassed on behalf of Alamo to write this review as Alamo is so out of touch.
