The battery she sold me was over $200. I returned when I realized that it was the wrong battery. The clerk was very rude and acted as though it was my fault that she had provided the wrong battery. I got the correct battery for $50 at Walmart

I have a few other Advance Auto Stores that are closer to me, one within walking distance but none compare to the one on Onondaga. Their knowledge of product is always spot on, they know what they have and how to get the right product in your hands the first time. On top of all this I also find this store to be well stocked, tidy and extremely clean. A big thanks to Shelly in specific, she's my favorite!

What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
