Wow!! I should have realized I was at the wrong place when the guy before me was yelling how they did work on his car that he specifically told the not to do! They had to call corporate and everything..I got what I thought was an oil change. I pulled out of the lot and my car had several warning lights on and the car wouldn't go over 10mph and started making crazy noises ive never heard from a car! Turns out they drained my transmission fluid and put new oil on top of the old oil. Not sure how this is possible with transmission fluid being red and them not checking the dip stick after the oil change and seeing its overfilled and black!! They had to order the the transmission fluid from Huntington while I sit and wait like an idiot for well over 2 hours. They cant even give me a refund! Theyre waiting for a call back! This is insane..my cars definitely gonna break down

Needed four new tires for my Ford edge and went to Mavis in Syosset on Jericho Turnpike stood in the waiting room for 20 minutes and no one ever even checked in with me or showed up at the desk. It was as if no one was working so I left and went to Goodyear and bought my tires. That’s a shame because I had my oil change done at Mavis not long ago and it was very efficient and the employees were polite and prompt.

I had a great experience at Mavis Tires today. I stopped by to use their free air station, but they didn’t have one available. Sean offered to put air in my tire, and while doing so, he noticed there was a nail in it. He took the time to inspect it and plug the tire right away. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful.

I found a nail and a metal shard stuck in my tire around 7 PM and called Mavis, who told me to come right in. Sean, the store manager, was extremely helpful, and his team had my tire repaired and me back on the road in about 10 minutes!
Now I can drive to work without worrying about a flat on the LIE. Thank you, Sean and team, for the fast, friendly service and the peace of mind!

I had 4 tires replaced about 3 weeks ago. My rim was damaged and I was assured that i would get a call the next day to have the situation resolved and a new rim ordered - again not my fault but I understand how things happen. No one has called me in 3 weeks. I left 2 messages since and no call back. I now have to file a dispute with AMEX regarding the payment was made due to the damages. Typically a good shop but terrible experience this go around.
