    Driving to visit a friend on LI we stopped her to charge. The EVgo name for this station is Target South Setauket #T1191. For the full forty minutes we were the only car charging. There are EVgo/GM Energy 350kW Delta chargers. The displays are glass but were very clouded and almost impossible to read. These are older chargers but worked fine. We were using GM Energy Pass and had a $50 credit that EVgo/GM sent out. While charging we took a two mile walk and used the bathrooms at Target. There is also a Home Depot in the parking lot. The chargers are at the very northern end of the parking lot.

    Enjoyed it while lasted. The chargers are all clean, work well and fairly quick but EVGO decided to double the rate to $.75kwh for off peak members. Membership cancelled. I’ll trickle charge at home for the cost.

    They charge .62 OFF-PEAK! normally .74. They have quietly raised the prices 30% over the past couple of months. no announcements. I realized today as I topped $30 for the first time ever. Also their chargers in this location are frequently down now. Raising prices, lowering quality. not good. Electrify America charges from .36-.54. Go the extra mile and save some money.
