  I dropped the car off on Monday 4/27/26, on Tuesday 4/28/26 I realized I left a drill in the trunk, I called them and made them aware, I was told they have it and I can pick it up, due to my busy schedule as a RN I didn’t get down there until Friday 5/1/26, I was told I picked my drill up on Wednesday 4/29/26, I told the guy if I picked it up why would I come here today to pick it up, he’s searching and calling people regarding my drill and I was told they don’t have it and I picked it up, I told him only me, my boyfriend, and your office was they only one knew about the drill being left and my boyfriend didn’t pick it up, so I looked at the camera and said do these cameras work and can u pull the video so I can see who picked up my drill, he said the manager is not here and will be here on Monday 5/4/26, Monday come I send my boyfriend down there and they again say we picked up the drill, so on Tuesday 5/5/26 I called to speak to the manager and was told they found the drill, they gave it to a contractor that came and did some work for the Shirley NY location when they viewed the camera footage😂, now picking something up vs giving something away is 2 different scenarios, Enterprise your Shirley NY location is the Worst!

  Terrible customer service. Walked in to get my rental and was rushed out because the "manager" was in a rush to go to a knicks game. Learning some work ethic will get you a long way in life. If that door is unlocked and welcoming customers its not the customers problem to make sure your leisure time isnt interrupted after work

  I had a very positive experience with Enterprise in Shirley, NY. The staff was professional and efficient. They provided me with a comfortable and clean car while my car was in the shop. They were patient and available to answer my questions throughout the rental period. They made pick up and drop off super easy! I was able to drop off the rental at the shop when I went to pick up my car! I would definitely recommend Enterprise at Shirley, NY!

  Mechanically, the car I got worked fine. Cleanliness gets a 0/10. The car had wet coffee sloshing around in the center console and cupholders. The backseat cupholders had a quarter inch of what smelled like pancake syrup in them. Lastly, there were footprints on the window - good for the previous renters, but bad in terms of being able to feel clean. Service? Fine. Safety and functionality? Fine. Cleanliness? This Enterprise would do well with running to the local dollar store for ANY cleaning supplies.
