Made an appointment for inspection and oil change. My wife went this am and had a really poor customer service experience. She was told we didn't have an inspection scheduled, and it would not be able to be completed.. in this day and age there are too many choices to spend your hard earned dollar that lousy customer service should be toleranced

Unfortunately, this is now the second consecutive week I have had an issue with Mavis, and this time it occurred at a completely different location.
After my appointment last week was unsuccessful due to Mavis' system being down, I scheduled another appointment shortly afterward at a different Mavis location. I did this specifically to give the company another opportunity to complete my state inspection and avoid any further issues.
My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 PM today, and I arrived at approximately 11:40 AM. Once again, I was told, “The system is down,” and they were unable to check the appointments. I was then told that the technician had just been sent to lunch and would not be back until 1:00 PM. My only option was apparently to wait.
Are you serious?
Two consecutive weeks. Two different Mavis locations. Two scheduled appointments. And both times, I showed up early and was unable to receive the service I had specifically scheduled.
I understand that computer systems can experience technical problems and that employees need to take lunch breaks. However, neither of those issues should result in a customer arriving for a scheduled appointment and being told that the appointment cannot be honored.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I only have weekends off, so my time is limited. I need a current vehicle inspection in order to access my workplace, which makes getting this completed particularly important. I have made every effort to schedule appointments in advance and arrive on time, yet I continue to be the one inconvenienced.
At this point, this no longer feels like an isolated incident. When a customer experiences essentially the same problem two weeks in a row at two completely different locations, it reflects a serious problem with how Mavis manages its appointments and communicates with customers.
Customers' time has value. If Mavis knows that its inspection system is unavailable or that it cannot honor scheduled appointments, customers should be notified before they drive to the location.
I gave Mavis another opportunity after last week's experience, and unfortunately, today's experience was just as disappointing. At this point, I feel that the company is completely disregarding its customers' time, and that is extremely unprofessional.
