  Story time. I bought a starter online. My mechanic said, I don't need it. But I do need a battery. I don't have a receipt. I called the Autozone in Clifton Park, he said, I was able to find it under the warranty with your phone number. Cool, I go over and as soon as I step in, there is an employee in a screaming match with a client about not having his receipt. I get in line and I get the same staff member that was screaming. He cuts me off before I get more than 3 words and says I can't do anything without a receipt. I mentioned that I called 20 minutes earlier and someone said that it was fine under the warranty but he didn't want to hear it. I walk out because I am not arguing with anyone. I called this Autozone in Schenectady and they tell me the same thing about the warranty. I drive there and was able to refund it without an issue. Then I bought the battery. Cuddos to this location for listening and being reasonable.

  The display on our Honda went crazy. A young man from the store came out, checked the batter and found it okay he looked at the ground strap, cleaned out and repaired the car. He was polite, and had the knowledge to diagnose and repair our problem thank you!

  Needed the fault codes to give to the ABS module repair to see if it can be fixed. I came here to get said codes. The staff was overwhelmingly kind and welcoming. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Opened the door for me and my baby in the car seat. got right to the point and printed the codes. I was in and out in less then 10 minutes. They were busy also so I was shocked it was so fast. The woman behind the counter was friendly and personable. The men who helped the same. Very happy with the interaction here and they were helpful. Thanks again!

  I was having car battery issues and asked for a diagnosis/possible charge. It took some hesitation before an employee asked me how I can be helped and offered to help. Long story short, the employee interaction was decent so I gained a trust on his word. However, it turns out that he did not actually run a complete diagnosis on my battery and refused to charge it stating that it will charge itself. I had to go to a autozone near my job in Colonie due to my concern with the battery along with the same issue coming up again. they were very helpful there, actually tested my battery this time and even helped swap my battery. I would avoid this location on State St. going forward if possible.
