  I've been coming here for NY State inspections for my car for quite a few years, and I usually have a pretty positive experience. I usually deal with Pete, who I've been dealing with for decades since his Montgomery Ward Automotive days-he's a good dude. I'm sure there are other good people here I've dealt with too, but I can't remember their names right now. I like the fact that they don't try to aggressively upsell you. I don't mind buying services if I genuinely need them, but pushy sales tactics are a turn-off, and they haven't done that here so far.

  ⚠️🚨I wouldn’t go to tallman’s tire in Rome 🚨 Last week my wife dropped our wheels off to get balanced they were already mounted and to plug one from the inside. I was on the phone with the technician in a different state and had him check each wheel and tire he said “man, these are real nice” Pretty simple, right? Or so I thought… they managed to shred the sidewall of said tire (I didn’t see the tire maybe it really was junk). I order 5 new tires online because they couldn’t get me 24s, drop the new tires off Wednesday they said “they would be done sometime Friday” so we finally call around 4 they say “oh yeah, we forgot to call, you can come pick them up.” I get there the technician comes right in the office and asks “if my cars unlocked and if I wanted help loading them” an which I said “you can roll them over there, I’ll put them in” i get out there and there already loading the tires, whatever. Technician again says “man these are gonna look sweet on there, there in really good shape” I bring them back to my house and I’m cleaning them before putting them on and notice on one that the insides lip bent so I call Dennis and he instantly denies and says it’s impossible because of the way there tire machine holds the wheel i said “ok, did the wheel even balance out ok? it’s pretty twisted.”he says “hold on, I’ll call the guy he left already” calls me back informs that “they had to order extra heavy weights for it” and when i asked “why I wasn’t informed it was bent” he said “because we thought, we were going to be the ones mounting them on the car like we discussed the first time.”

  Excellent service, DENNIS respectful, considerate… Credit to TALLMAN’S, would tell others to go there for honest repairs🎉🎉

  I called on thursday to have tires brakes, rotors, calipers, put in my vehicle . They set me up for the following tuesday.And once I dropped my vehicle off, they kept me up-to-date as to what they were doing. And when my vehicle would be ready

  Highly recommend Tallman’s! Had brakes serviced, alignments checked, tires rotated and balanced. Always had extremely good service here - which can be hard to come by with mechanics at times, and definitely recommend!
