  I rented a 12 passenger van for vacation with 8 passengers.. I was talked into purchasing roadside assistance and I thought it was a good thing to have considering we had so many passengers we wouldn’t easily fit into another car if something happened. Low & behold- we get a nail in our tire. Pretty sure it was like that when we picked it up since the air was low the next morning. I called roadside assistance & their solution was for me to drive to a tire shop and have them change it then ask enterprise to reimburse me. That is NOT roadside assistance. That’s figure it out yourself. Called again told them I wasn’t spending my vacation at the tire shop & was told to go to Myrtle beach airport to exchange our van & one would be waiting for me. So I spend a day of my vacation completely wasted because of course - “we have no 12 passenger vans available “ even though there were multiple in the parking lot. I also offered to split us up into two vehicles if they didn’t have a vehicle big enough to accommodate us & they would not let me since I only signed one contract not two.. . I will never spend another dollar at this business & I recommend you don’t either!

  Brennen is awesome and we very much appreciate his help this morning! Our car maintenance for an oil change light came on close to the end of our travel to our destination (2 hours to go after 16 hour drive). We weren’t able to get much help from the on call number since most areas were closed. This was the closest place to our destination- we arrived before open (they did not know we were coming) and Brennan was outside getting set up with opening duties. We were going to wait until 8 before interrupting but when he noticed us he came up and spoke to us. He helped us out and verified that we were all good and they just forgot to reset the light. (Unsure why corporate was unable to look up this info for us). He was able to get us helped an on our way before 8:00. We are very appreciative!!! His coworker also came out to check on us too but we didn’t catch his name. We appreciate you!

  The staff at the Rome NY location were polite and informative. The establishment was clean and presentable, and my rental was as expected very nice and clean and a pleasure to operate.

  Rome, NY The people at enterprise were made aware of the condition of the car before I had left the lot, he proceeded to tell me it was ok and not a problem. I left the lot and turned around to go back to get another car because the one he had given me needed work. He refused to give me a different vehicle claiming “it doesn’t need work, it will be fine for a few days.” So I left, again. I rented the vehicle while my insurance was working on my claim. Over the 2 weeks of driving the car, not only did we notice it needed an oil change and wheel bearing, the front tires also needed to be replaced, we found several pieces of mail, a bag with drug paraphernalia, parking pass, several traffic violations, and even a doorbell camera (all belonging to the previous renter). I had the vehicle for 4 days after my insurance stopped paying, every single day at least 3-4 phone calls a day asking for the vehicle to be returned, I did speak to a rep on the 2nd day to let him know I had planned to keep the car until I received an estimate from my insurance and he said he would note the account that it will now be paid out of pocket. I still continued to get phone calls and voicemails threatening me to return the vehicle or further action will take place. 1st Brennan didn’t want to give me another vehicle safe to drive, then he wanted to “escalate the issue” and take further action because they had agreed I would keep the vehicle until my estimate was finished. Upon returning the vehicle we had taken pictures of the belongings found in the vehicle and had brought them inside to management, he laughed and said “sorry about that, good thing you didn’t get pulled over or in trouble for all of that,” not even an apology for not cleaning the vehicle or even repairing it!! He stated that it wasn’t going to get repaired because it was leaving the Enterprise fleet to be sold. Just wow!! I have rented with enterprise for over 20 years and have never had an issue like this, sure minor issues that always got taken care of once I expressed the issues with any vehicle.
