These guys are the best. I brought my car to Toyota because I was having an issue with a tire leak, but they couldn’t find the source of the problem. After struggling to get my tire patched through warranty, I decided to go to Mavis. My series of bad luck changed, they were quick and easy to make an appointment with, and flexible with scheduling after the fact. Once I took my car in, they quickly patched it, gave me a great deal on the service, and sent me on my way home. There was zero haggling or sense of being ripped off like you often feel at other mechanics or car shops, just genuinely friendly and helpful staff from start to finish.

WARNING!!! THIS STORE LOCATION MAY SELL YOU TIRES FRAUDULENTLY!!!!!
I wanted to give five star review previously, but I have changed my mind after today's experience.
Today, I went to the Mavis discount tire shop in Rockville Center, Long Island to purchase a tire for my sedan, coming from one of NYC boroughs for my agenda.
When I entered the shop, the agent suggested a "most affordable" option with a traction control, which was around $168. So I was about to agree to it. But then he informed me that there is a "Hankook tire" version of the tire which costs $218. He seemed to be suggesting it since my other two tires on my car were Hankook tires. So I asked him if Hankook tires indeed last longer than the previous version, and he said yes; Hankook tire would last about 5 years, whereas the previous one would only last about 3 years. So I said I would go with the Hankook tire version.
After my itinerary, I returned to the shop to install the tire. After the installation, I paid $218 plus a $15 warranty for the tire and left the store, after agreeing to leave the "good review" when the agent asked for it. So at that time, I assumed everything was fine, and left a 5 star review.
However, when I was about to enter my car, I decided to glance at the new tire, and noticed that there was no Hankook tire brand logo on it but only the brand name of Mavis tire on it. So I returned to the clerk on the front desk and said I do not see the Hankook tire logo, and she explained that although the tire was manufactured by Hankook tire company, they do not put their logo for the versions sold in Mavis tire stores. So I just took her word for it at the time and returned home.
However, after arriving at home, I decided that I want to verify the Hankook tire on my car. So I googled a number of questions. First question: does Hankook tire company manufacture tires for Mavis tire discount stores brand? The answer was: yes. Second question: do tires manufactured by Hankook tire company for Mavis tire stores brand have Hankook tire brand logo on it? The answer was: no, confirming what the clerk had said. However, the Google AI continued to indicate that: in order to verify if the tire was indeed manufactured by Hankook tire company, you can search the DOT (Department of Transportation) identification code on the tire on the internet and find out the exact company that manufactured the tire. So that's what I did. I located the DOT identification code on my purchased tire, and then googled it. The result came out to be that the company that manufactured the tire was Cart Tire Co., Ltd. located in the Qilu Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Cambodia. So my next question googled was: does Hankook tire company own Cart Tire Co., Ltd. In SEZ in Cambodia? The answer was no, it is owned by a Chinese company.
So now it was all clear. The tire I have purchased that was supposed to be manufactured by Hankook tire company, which I paid $218 instead of about $168, was NEVER manufactured by Hankook tire company, but by some Chinese company in Cambodia. So this Mavis tire discount store location at Rockville Center in Long Island have made a FRAUDULENT SALE, and robbed me of about $50!!! So I have called the general customer service department of Mavis tire to report this fraudulent sale, and am waiting for them to contact me back.
I might update this review once they contact me correct this FRAUDE, but till then, or always, PLEASE CHECK YOUR TIRE'S DOT IDENTIFICATION CODE TO VERIFY WHERE THE TIRE IS MANUFACTURED IF THE MAVIS AGENT SUGGEST A HIGHER BRAND NAME TIRE THAT COSTS MORE!!!!!!! You may simply google these information on the internet to verify what clerk has said, so that you don't get robbed just by taking their word for it. DOT identification code is located on the wall of the tire, and it starts with letters DOT, and can be about 16 letters/numbers long.
