The service was good. The attendant did a good job and was friendly. The establishment was not clean and there was a stinch. I also saw a mouse go into one of the garbage cans in the work area. One of the doors to the work area the glass was broken on the entire door. In order for people to come to a business or keep a business open, the work area should be clean. Some lean management 6s reorganization would work for this business.

We had a very frustrating experience with Mavis over the course of four days. On 10/1, my husband brought our vehicle in for four new tires and an alignment. When he picked it up, the alignment still felt off and two new warning lights had appeared. I brought it back that evening, and Assistant Manager Lionel was very helpful. He quickly identified that there was an underlying issue that should have been caught before the alignment was completed. At that time, he believed the vehicle needed inner and outer tie rods and explained that the alignment should not have been done until the issue was addressed. I rearranged my work schedule and worked remotely on 10/2 so the repair could be completed, only to be told they were unable to do the work because the mechanic had been sent home. I returned again on Saturday, 10/3, shortly after opening. At that point, it was determined that the control arms were actually what needed to be replaced. I was told the repair would take about 2.5 hours. Instead, it turned into an all-day ordeal. From an initial estimate completion time of 11, to calling @ 1 to find out there was an issue locating a needed bolt after having to use a torch to remove the control arms. At 2 pm, I checked in again to learn that the manager was driving around to multiple locations to get a bolt. Shortly after 5 PM, Manager Keith called and told me they had found the bolt, would finish the repair and alignment, and expected the car to be ready around 5:30. I told him I would arrange a ride and head over, since Mavis had our family’s only vehicle. I arrived around 5:45 PM to find the building locked, my vehicle locked inside, and no employees there. No one called to tell me they were closing or that I needed to arrive by a certain time, despite knowing I was on my way. As a result, my family was unexpectedly left without a vehicle overnight. We have two young children, had no transportation available in case of having plans or an emergency, and missed church the next morning. I returned again on 10/4. Robert was kind and empathetic and did try to help, but the final discount was only around $25, which did not even meaningfully reflect the Uber cost, multiple return trips, lost time, work disruption, and the overall experience. I want to specifically recognize Lionel and Robert for being professional and kind. However, the overall communication and handling of the situation were extremely disappointing. I understand that repairs can take unexpected turns, but leaving a customer’s only vehicle locked inside after telling them it would be ready, with no notice, is unacceptable. I hope Mavis reviews this experience and provides a more appropriate resolution.

Not sure, place may be closed? Made an appointment shwoed up at 11 30 and no one was there except another customer who had waited outside 1 hour for a tire change.

I called Monro around 10 this morning and they were able to get me in at 11. I knew I needed a new set of tires eventually, but wasn’t sure how much longer I could safely keep the ones I had. I originally thought I might just need the one tire patched, but after looking at everything, I ended up getting a full set of new tires. They got everything done really quickly and had me in and out! Will, the manager, was great and super helpful throughout the whole process. I really appreciated how easy they made everything, especially since I wasn’t expecting to get all new tires today. Definitely recommend them!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I paid almost $1,000 to fix a check engine light and engine misfire. I was told over the phone they were replacing the spark plugs and ignition coil, but my invoice shows spark plugs and a PCV valve instead. Only two weeks later, the check engine light is back. I tried calling several times, was put on hold and disconnected. I then scheduled a 9:00 AM appointment, showed up on time, and at 9:30 AM the shop was still closed with nobody there. Terrible communication and extremely frustrating experience, especially after spending nearly $1,000 on a repair that did not solve the problem. I expect Monro to honor their warranty and fix this properly. AVOID THIS LOCATION.
