The driver who picked me up, the manager and other members of the team all tried their best to make the best of difficult situations that were time and resource draining. When one vehicle smelled like cigarette smoke, they replaced it immediately. But that involved more of my time to come in and switch cars. Their inventory got very low, and they didn't have a vehicle class I'd reserved 2 weeks in advance and checked on, interfering with vacation plans. They scrambled and got a nice replacement eventually. I'm not sure of the logistics behind these reservations but it didn't seem that they can be guaranteed, even with advanced reservations. They were convenient, picking me up from and delivering me to the car repair shop so that I didn't have to get family or friends to miss work, or pay for an Uber.
