  Had a 9a appointment for a recall. Dropped my vehicle off @7a. Barely received a response via text when attempting to check the status of the vehicle,I had to call a few times. Received a call back after 230p stating my keys must have been @the "bottom of the drop box"and my vehicle would not be ready until the following afternoon! The individuals I interacted with @the location itself were pleasant; very frustrating to have to wait that long to have my vehicle returned when it was confirmed the job wouldn't take more than a couple of hours.

  I would not suggest purchasing at cortese. I had Been searching for a Ford Ranger for about a month. A couple trucks on their lot were not right for me. One of the salesman Westin, reached out with pictures and details of a truck that wasn’t listed yet. But knew exactly my standards wants and needs. He had said the truck underbody was immaculate and clean and from pictures it looked it. I took his word and didn’t think much of it because I loved the truck and trusted his information and knowledge of vehicles and the details of what’s on his lot and what he is selling. Upon signing papers I drove off the lot headed home. Before leaving for my hour drive home I looked over my suspension components realizing I had just taken his word. Well The reason the frame and underneath looks so clean is because the previous owner had painted over a ton of corrosion and rust. I immediately turned around, went back to the dealer to see Weston had taken off very quickly And the dealership was closed. I was an hour and a half from home with no way home so I took the truck and immediately texted Weston about the issue I was having. Michelle and customer service reached out the next day, Immediately she was not trying to be helpful. She was combative and asked why I would take the truck if I wasn’t happy with it, not considering the context and actual situation that had taken place, covering her bases. She continued to be very flat, not concerned and asked why I would leave with the truck, not thinking about the fact that I was an hour away from home and the dealership was closed. She did not hear me out. She’s began raising her voice and at that point, I knew Cortese was not concerned with my problem now that they had the sale. One of the worst situations that I was fearful of. Typically a good dealership would meet a customer where they are at hear them out and try to work on resolving the situation instead, they double down and said that it was my fault I didn’t notice or see it. Put words in my mouth saying I knew it was painted which was so untrue. They had sent pictures and sent me on my way. Horrible experience Michelle was super rude and she should not be in a customer service position. Weston is incompetent and honestly really hard to even talk to, and lastly clearly the Cortese’s don’t give a damn. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND FIND AN HONEST SALESMAN WITH PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE! I am hoping I am able to remediate the painted frame suspension components and overall issues with the under body, rust and corrosion without the help of the dealer who sold me on the fact that it had zero of these issues. Win some lose some but take my advice! Update: they offered an oil change. Then I got hung up on when asking for a phone number, Mr Phil Valenti, for being a sales manager he was very immature and seems like he can’t handle a simple civil conversation involving and oil change appt. Waiting to hear from an owner.
