While it wasn't as easy or quick as the commercials make it seem (I had to wait 5 days), I am very pleased with my windshield replacement. The technician, Kevin, was awesome. He was nice, arrived right at the beginning of the estimated arrival timeframe, and had the replacement done in under an hour.

The Riverhead Safelite location is excellent in every way. They were courteous, ready at scheduled time, comfortable waiting area, completed at time stated, outstanding repair. This is the best Safelite location I have been to.

Had 5 appointments, because they could not calibrate my F150, so none of the safety features were operational, i told the customer service reps to send a different windshield brand, which they did not do until the 6th appointment. Overall a simple windshield replacement went on for more than a month where i had to constantly call to schedule appointments and re-explain my ongoing issues. Do not use them.

Update 7/01! Yesterday, I contacted Geico and transferred my appointment to Precision Autoglass. Precision Autoglass replaced my windshield today—no drama, just professional service.
Update 6/30: Riverhead canceled again. This time, they don't have the “part!” Funny, they had it last night, but somehow it disappeared this morning at 6:30 am. I requested the manager’s contact info, but Dave provided me with incorrect information. See attached pictures of emails from Dave.
I'm not sure what has happened to Safelite lately. They have become very unprofessional. In the past, you would get calls, texts, and emails informing you that the driver was on their way to your location. These days, they never show up, and you get no calls or emails. You have to call customer service again to set up a new appointment. It has been two weeks of constant rescheduling. I have another appointment tomorrow, which Riverhead will most likely not honor.
I wish Geico would approve local shops to replace windshields instead of driving around with cracked glass.
