Oil is the lifeblood of every standard vehicle on the road. It's crucial to regularly check your oil and schedule oil change service for your car to ensure it runs properly. Regular service also allows us to check for leaks in your engine that could shorten your vehicle's lifespan and lead to other avoidable problems.
Rotating your vehicle's tires is important for maintaining and managing treadwear on your tires, and in some cases is required in order to preserve your tires' warranty.
We can service, replace, and repair exhaust systems, catalytic converters, tailpipes, and mufflers. Ensuring these systems are working properly is key to elongating the life of your vehicle and maintaining optimal performance.
Proper wheel and tire alignment helps your car's tires last longer, increases fuel economy, and improves your vehicle's handling. Our highly-trained tire alignment experts are ready to provide you the reliable, quality service you need to get back on the road.
Your vehicle's shocks, struts, and suspension are key components to ensure your vehicle's performance and a more comfortable ride. As such, it's important to properly maintain these components on your vehicle.
Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples.
Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.
There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

I’m giving Mavis Tire in Riverhead a well-deserved 5-star review for their great prices and outstanding service. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the mechanics were knowledgeable, honest, and efficient. They got my tires taken care of quickly, didn’t try to upsell me on anything unnecessary, and the price was more than fair. It’s hard to find a shop that combines quality work, fair pricing, and genuinely good customer service, but Mavis Tire in Riverhead does exactly that. I highly recommend them for tires, alignments, and everyday auto care. Five stars!

Absolutely exceptional service, Mavis didn’t disappoint me. Both times I’ve had to come here, it has been an emergency; they have always been accommodating. Mike, the manager I think, was here and he was great. I had to be towed in and they waited on me,
even when it started to get late in the day. Mike and his helper assisted me with the emergency and helped me price match on the spot. I’m so happy to have stumbled upon this place! Thank you Mavis Tires, I no longer have to go all the way to Walmart for affordable tires. 😊

Having been a very good customer of Mavis Tire in the past, unfortunately I must post this review. Do not purchase the Road Hazard Coverage on tires from them. While they prorate fairly, they require you to pay Full list price for the replacement tire(S), and then charge a balancing fee on top of that. Something most Tire dealers include as part of their total quotes. The Road hazard coverage should have nothing to do with the price of the new tire. They should do the right thing and be competitive on their tires regardless, if it's a road hazard claim or not. In addition, they now are Not transparent on which competitors they price match, and treat this a company secret. How can you not match other manufactures Legit dealers pricing, I'm not talking about joe's tires pricing(for example), but large chain authorized dealers pricing. I guess after their recent acquisition by a hedge fund, they're just out to maximize profits on the backs of their best customers, that buy a set of tires over and over from them. The guys in the store are very good otherwise, it's just mavis's company policies that have to change, as there are many other options out there !
