I found tires I needed online and scheduled an appointment for "tire purchase" as it was the closest I could find for tire installation. Show up for the appointment and I was told that there was no reservation. Once I provided the email confirmation, suddenly they found it. I am then told the tires I want are out of stack and the closest tire they have is 2 times the price. I show them that the website states the tire is available for purchase from the East Greenbush, NY location. But they still claimed they didn't have the tires. So I go outside, go to purchase the tires I want and schedule the installation for 1 hr later. Go in and tell them about the appointment, suddenly, the computer is down and they don't know when it will be back running. Bait and switch is illegal in New York. I will be filing this with every single office applicable so this can not happen again. Walmart is directly across the street, they had the same priced tires and went out of their way to help me. No excuses, no attempts at up selling, just good old fashioned customer service. Never thought I would be saying that about Walmart and not Mavis.
