  So, I had a ding from some road rock that just started to spider. Got worse and worse. Called insurance. Got to Safelite. They were awesome. Scheduled the appointment. Worked with my garage to find a time where Safelite could send a van and a technician. Aligned all the calendars. Boom. Tech came. Replaced the windshield. His name was Geo and he was superb. Aces. Liked the guy a lot. Total pro. He needed to drive the car for the recalibration software to do its thing. About an hour later he brought the car back and said we were done. All good. All reports check check check. About 4 hours later Safelite calls and says there is a problem. The calibration did not completely finish and I was asked to bring the car in on Monday morning (holiday weekend). OK. Maybe not ideal but they were keeping me safe! Not the technician's fault in anyway. Geo was superb. So, enter Darius - the store manager. I was in and out in 30 min and done before my scheduled appointment. Darius (and his team) were aces! I arrived at 7:30am for an 8am appointment and I was done a few minutes after 8am. On a holiday / long weekend. Very, very happy with Safelite!

  This was my first time using Safelite for my car's glass and I was very impressed with their performance. The technician, Ronald, explained the process and showed me some issues encountered that he fixed them without additional cost. I recommend this facility/company for your car glass repairs.

  Terrible service. No real check in and they almost gave my car away to another person. They removed my GPS and then said they didn’t know where I wanted it. I said exactly where it was before?? They were just too lazy to try. The facility is terribly cheap. Somehow this was the best one around.

  TOTALED MY CAR. No exaggeration. Failed to seal the bottom of my windshield as confirmed by an air test by Manhattan Mercedes. After having some random electrical issues with my Mercedes 450 GLS (mysterious inability to start the car), the car had a full failure. Turns out, water was infiltrating below the windshield, behind the glove box and under the passenger seat where the main battery is. See photo and waterline on battery. Battery was sitting in several inches of water, which eventually spread down the entire passenger seat of the car. Mercedes' estimate was over $20,000, so GEICO considered totaled. I thought I would keep this car (which I only drive 5,000 mi/year) for another 7-10 years. So although I got paid out, it still did not compensate me as I cannot replace this perfect car (with only 61,000 miles) for anything close to this amount. Btw, even before this major problem, they never got the driver's side windshield wiper to go all the way to where the original one did. Please go to your dealer or other professional.
