  First time coming here via recommendation from a coworker and various positive reviews. I usually don’t write any reviews myself but I did have a great experience at Essential and plan on returning for any serious repair needed on my car. I have a 2011 Honda civic with over 300k miles on it. My check engine light came on, got a scan from an autozone to find out it was my catalytic converter. When I got to the shop I was helped by Daniel who was very attentive and patient, answering all my questions and concerns. Throughout the process they were very transparent about everything along with pricing so you aren’t left with any surprises. Initial overlooked and scan is free, you then have to pay for an actual diagnostic as it takes time and resources to do this, and then afterwards you’re given a file that explains what has been found and what needs to be serviced. Within my doc I also found options that were at different price points which I found helpful. While it was definitely off the higher end budget wise, my car is fixed and has been driving well since Ive gotten it back. I was also offered an additional service for free to have a general inspection on my car for anything else that may need to be serviced in the future so that I can take better care of my car and have it last as long as possible which I appreciated. Not sure if this is generally offered but, I did express interest in wanting to have my car looked at beyond the repair as I got the car about a month ago and want to make sure it has what it needs to keep going for another year or two so it was much appreciated! I’ll definitely be returning to have my car worked on!

  Essential Auto Care is a great place to take your car. I had a problem I couldn’t figure out. They took their time to find what was wrong and fixed it. So happy with them. Will take my car to them for all my needs.

  I am glad that I am finally sitting down in front of my computer to write an honest review of my amazing experience with Essential Auto Care. My Honda Odyssey needed to have its timing belt replaced so I started doing some research . I always look at the google reviews and I check to see if they are fake or not...Essential Auto Care had a 5 star Rating and I read many of the reviews which I felt were truly genuine. So I took the first step and made a phone call... Daniel picked up the phone, greeted me and spoke in a very professional tone of voice in perfect English. He was very pleasant and he suggested that I bring my car for them to take a look so I did. I met him in person and we talked about my car and he said he needed to have his specialist look over my vehicle . I thought it was going to be a quick estimate but he said he needed 1 1/2 hours to do a thorough job to evaluate if anything else might be needed so I proceeded to wait inside the air conditioned waiting room with comfortable couches but with no TV though. At exactly 1 1/2 hours later, he called me to his desk and showed me all the findings and recommendations with a complete breakdown with parts and labor for each item with pictures too! Daniel then said he was going to email me the file so I could go home and review it carefully and see what I would like to have done..Absolutely no deceitful pressure scare tactics done here...Wow!!! I was impressed. No charge for the 1 1/2 hour evaluation either. I could have just walked away with a free estimate but I didn't. He was so honest that I said why not review it now and he said sure. We went over line by line and I agreed to many of the items and I felt the pricing was very reasonable so I gave him the okay to do the work so I paid a small deposit and agreed to bring the car on the following Monday at 8 AM. He said it would only take one day and I could pick it up at the end of the day. When I went home, I studied his detailed breakdown and agreed to have more work done and called to let him know. Monday, I brought my car in and by the mid afternoon, Daniel called to let my know that my right passenger engine mount was worn and cracked and he offered to fix it for me with no labor charge but I had to pay for the part which I happily agreed to so he said he had to order the part and the car will be ready for me on Tuesday late afternoon. He said he will call to let me know the status of the vehicle and the best time to pick it up. Tuesday came and he called to tell me that the work was all finished and that they needed to do a test drive of 25 miles to make sure everything is okay before they hand my car back to me. I got there at 2:30 to pick up my car and they showed me all the before and after photos of everything that was done with the old and new parts side by side. I was truly impressed with their professionalism and they put it in writing the warranty which was truly remarkable( 3year/36,000 miles). My engine bay was totally clean and I checked that everything was done like they said they would and now I am so very happy that I found a automotive repair shop that is run so professionally and so honest that they would never cheat or steer you wrong. Most of all, I would like to thank the owners of Essential Auto Care and Daniel for restoring my faith in finding honest, reliable people who want to establish a long lasting relationship with their customers. I told all my coworkers about my positive experience with you. You will have me as a customer for as long as I live ....Thank you!!!

  I highly recommend Essential Auto Care! They provide exceptional customer service, and it is rare to find an auto repair shop that is this honest, professional, and genuinely committed to helping its customers. Before bringing my car in, I spoke with Daniel and explained that my car alarm had been going off randomly. I asked if they had a diagnostic scanner, and he said yes. I was surprised when I asked about the diagnostic fee and he told me it was free. Most auto repair shops and dealerships I have dealt with charge for diagnostics, so I truly appreciated his honesty and generosity. Daniel was also very friendly and asked for my name during our phone conversation. When I made the appointment, I let him know that my husband would be bringing the car in. When my husband arrived at the shop, Daniel remembered my name, which was such a nice personal touch and showed how much he genuinely cares about his customers. It took about 90 minutes to diagnose the problem, and they found that a loose latch on the driver's side was causing the issue. They tightened the latch, and when my husband asked how much we owed, Daniel told him there was no charge. We were both completely surprised and incredibly grateful! Daniel was friendly, professional, honest, and provided outstanding customer service from beginning to end. Auto repair shops like this are hard to find, especially ones that don't try to make a quick dollar off every customer. Essential Auto Care has earned my trust and my highest recommendation. Thank you so much, Daniel, for helping us solve the mysterious problem with our car alarm that kept going off randomly. I truly appreciate your kindness and honesty.
