  Outstanding Team – Essential Auto Care is My New Go-To Shop! I can’t say enough good things about Essential Auto Care. I called in early because I was hearing a worrying undercarriage noise, and the manager, Daniel, was nice enough to squeeze me in instantly. From start to finish, I’ve never felt so connected to a service center and respected as a customer. Their process is top-tier. They take photos of every single angle of your concerns and send a detailed digital diagnostic report via text and email. The transparency is incredible. To top it off, this thorough checkup was completely complimentary. As a worried stranger who just found them on Google, I couldn’t believe the level of care they provided for free. This experience was a complete 180 from the Mitsubishi dealership service center in Astoria, where I previously paid $250 for a full diagnostic, waited 3 hours, and received nothing but unverified assumptions, a $1,000 quote for BS, and zero written paperwork. To make matters worse, the dealership manager was incredibly cocky and unprofessional, loudly berating me in front of the whole room for being the second owner of my vehicle. As a loyal Mitsubishi owner who has progressed from an '09 Eclipse to a '21 Outlander Sport and now a '23 Eclipse Cross, that awful dealership experience completely ruined the brand for me. Finding an auto shop is exactly like finding a barber you trust for years—it’s all about relationship and trust. Daniel operates this business with total humility and dedication. When I asked if he was the owner, he humbly said no, but the way he treats people explains exactly why this place has such stellar reviews. Daniel and his team make you feel human and take flawless care of both the customer and the vehicle. Essential Auto Care is officially my new "barber shop" for car care. Thank you, Daniel and team!   Before anything, huge thank you and shout out to ANDREW. I had multiple services done on my vehicle on a Friday morning. Fast forward to near their closing time and I am panicking because I am realizing I won't be able to make it back to pick up my vehicle until a few minutes after they close. Problem is I need the car for the weekend and they're closed until Monday. I call them and Andrew pulls some strings to make sure I'm not car-less until Monday. Went from stressing and panicking to absolutely relieved thanks to Andrew. This man is invited to my wedding. THANK YOU SO MUCH ANDREW & EVERYONE AT ESSENTIAL AUTO 🙏

  I loved the communication these guys have, I was getting reports with photos, have never had any shop providing so many details, time to review and approve each step, Really impressed and will def come back to them. Highly recommended

  Dropped Car Off On Sept 23 2026 8:30 AM. Daniel the manager was great. I requested to get every fluids, oils changed as well as all belts and belt tensioner needed replacing as well. Daniel kept me posted. I told him i needed to by Friday 3 PM if car was going to be ready so I can coordinate with my boss and leave work a bit early. Well as promised Daniel called me at 2:58 PM and told me car was ready and running Excellent and smooth as butter. I already referred one of my neighbors because since his dealer warranty is expiring on his GMC. He will be using them as well eventually. Guys are great and most importantly HONEST which is definitely very hard to find in the Auto Repair Industry.

We truly appreciate appreciate the thorough work your team completed, which included removal and replacement of front stabilizer bar control links-removal and replacement of transfer case seal- removal and replacement of radiator and radiator hoses, which were leaking. We appreciate the time, attention to detail and professionalism your service team put into addressing these necessary repairs. It is reassuring to know that our vehicle is being serviced by pro who take pride in their work and make sure the issues are properly identified and repaired.
