  The least I can do right now is leave a review, especially for the technician, Roger I had the pleasure of dealing with this morning. So I was scheduled for a windshield replacement this morning at 8 am. Upon arrival I was greeted by Roger and my car was taken right in 10-15 mins later Roger unwrapped the New windshield and noticed a severe scuff in the new windshield from shipping and from what I saw he made every attempt to salvage the damaged that occurred during the transit but the scuff was just too bad. He called me in to show me and asked me what I wanted to do. I said “ it kinda defeats the purpose of a new windshield” and he agreed but he had to ask. Luckily the new windshield was checked before the old one was removed and Roger set me up with a new appointment for next Sat. It’s a bit inconvenient but not at his fault and he didn’t right by me in every way! Thanks Roger! Really appreciate you for that

  I had a great experience with Safelite. My technician, Dave, was very professional, friendly, and clearly knew what he was doing. My appointment was scheduled for 9:30 AM and I was originally told the replacement could take a few hours, but Dave worked efficiently and had everything finished in about an hour. I was able to leave the lot by 10:32 AM. I really appreciated the professionalism and speed. If you get Dave as your technician, you’re in good hands.

  What a wonderful experience with Safelite located at 215-20 Jamaica Ave. Queens Village after so many frustration I had experienced with the Brooklyn branch located at 8672 18th Ave. Brooklyn NY. The key differences are : James the manager of Jamaica shop is very honest , polite, knowledgeable. On the other hand Jon , the so called" manager" of Brooklyn location was extremely rude , not knowledgeable , did not want to honor Safelite warranty policy and since he believed that due to my age I am an easy target tried to squeeze out money from me for the windshield that had a manufacture defect and thus was covered by Safelite warranty .The defect was the melted wire in the windshield defroster grid inside the glass that caused the windshield crack and it is called stress crack . The very same defect was confirmed by four or five his own workers on two appointments but he insisted that I still have to pay the second time. If someone wonders why on two appointments the reason is that the first time the new windshield that was delivered was scratched . I went to another authorized and independent shop and the owner gave a written statement that it cracked due to defect and recorded a video of the crack. I filed a complaint with the Safelite main office and was advised to go to any Safelite location for a second opinion. I was very skeptical about another Safelite shop but did not want to breach warranty on my part. So I went to Queens Village. Manager James from Queens established almost immediately that the culprit is the damaged melted grid wire inside the glass . He scheduled an appointment and today the windshield was replaced without any hassle or problems . Every single person who needs his car windshield to be replaced or fixed should go to Queens. Nice and honest service , very clean and comfortable waiting room , absolutely opposite to the pigsty in Brooklyn. Thank you James for excellent service and for your honesty. And now I feel like to file a complaint with BBB and sue Brooklyn shop in small claims court for money I paid to an independent shop , for all unnecessary visits ( two to Brooklyn , two to Queens , one to the independent shop , for gas money , for lost time ) . I hope that Brooklyn "manager" will be fired one day. Bad trees should be rooted out. James , thank you again. You restored my trust in the Safelite company.

  I dropped off vehicle at 9am as appointment time. I aksed them to can you put all the trim back properly bcz last time they didn't put wiper trim properly and thier was gap. Person at desk said yes. They told me it will take 3 hours. I left and waited till 2pm for call. I have to call to see if my car was ready. I went to pick up and I noticed that both side trim wasn't put back properly and they didn't use any floor protector. Dirty shoes were dragged in and out of both side vehicle floor. No professional work. They work like junkyard. Nxt time i have to find someone else for my service. They have zero regards for people vehicle.
