Great experience at every step. All my options were explained to me by the customer service rep. Easy to schedule the appointment. Came to my house. Had to do the recalibration of the cameras. It all went flawlessly and the tech was fast and courteous and walked me through the process. Highly recommend them.
Good work, great tech. However, I provided my insurance info and scheduled repair for following day. When finished the tech insisted on payment. Lots of back & forth and calls to his office. They said it takes 24 hours for insurance approval so I had to pay. Why would they let me schedule appointment before they had the approval?

The staff were very friendly. Being greeted with a smile goes a long way. The waiting area accommodations were impressive. No harsh smells, comfortable room temperature and decor. Clean, spacious with bottled water and bathroom amenities. I was very impressed. Communication was very helpful and informative. The process was not stressful and went smoothly. 10 out of 10 stars to that location (Southside Road Poughkeepsie). Special credit to all the receptionist desk decor much appreciated!!!!!
Good day! This Safelite is amazing. They were able to assist me in changing 2 windshields on my work car and one of my personals, simultaneously, within hours. Work car was covered by the job and personal car covered entirely by insurance. Both left with a lifetime warranty on the windshield. I left with one same day, came back before 9am the next day and picked up the other. Great service and staff. Highly recommended. Thank you

It would be 4 or 5 stars on the actual repair of the windshield -- if I didn't have to navigate Safelite's horrible, frustrating, totally inefficient automated phone system. It is literally impossible to call the service center directly. You are directed to a phone answering system with AI that simply doesn't work.
Also, when I got home, I found a hairline scratch that ran across the entire hood. Bringing it back to the service center, I was told that it wasn't their fault because they use a pad to protect the paint on the car. I asked to speak to the manager, who wasn't in, and was told that he would get back to me the next day. He's never called, and I will not go through Safelight's phone system to try to get through to him. Impossible. If you use Safelite, be prepared to be VERY frustrated.
