My daughter needed a car (fast). I called two Madza dealers before calling Miquel in Poughkeepsie. I called around noon July 3. I was not very happy with the two dealers I called prior to calling Miquel. Miquel was so helpful and knowledgeable. He had prices for me immediately. I was so impressed that we leased a new CX-30. We showed up Approximately 5 o'clock and we were greeted by this employee I can't remember his name, but he was absolutely fantastic. He helped us get the insurance and everything ready for the banking lady. My daughter was in a rush because she had to pick up something for work before seven. Mrs. Rojas was so organized and explained a lot to us and had us out in a reasonable amount of time. I have bought a lot of cars in my time, but nothing has ever gone to smooth. These three employees were definitely the A-Team. I would recommend Poughkeepsie Mazda, and recommend them to all. Thank you So much for making our experience a good one

I had an excellent experience at Route 9 Mazda, and I’m truly grateful for the top-notch service I received. From the moment I walked in, every employee was welcoming, helpful, and highly professional. They made the entire process feel comfortable and stress-free.
A very special shout-out to the new Sales Manager; Miguel Alejo!!
This dealership has definitely upgraded its team with him. He stayed by my side throughout the entire process, supervising everything, keeping me informed every step of the way, and patiently answering all of my questions. His reassurance, professionalism, and genuine care made a huge difference in my experience.
He truly went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and that I felt confident throughout the entire process. That level of customer service is hard to find these days, and it did not go unnoticed.
Thank you to the entire team for making this such a positive experience. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for honest, professional, and outstanding customer service!
There are moments in life when destiny gently turns the ignition, the stars rotate like alloy wheels, and the universe quietly whispers, "Get a Mazda." Such was my pilgrimage to Route 9 Mazda.
Dylan wasn't merely a salesperson. He was the Gandalf of gearboxes, the Obi-Wan of oil changes, the Doc Brown who somehow got me to 88 mph on paperwork alone. He navigated financing with the grace of Vin Diesel shifting through existential gears, yet possessed the calm confidence of Bob Ross painting happy little lane markings.
Every question I asked was met with the patience of a saint and the precision of a torque wrench. Every concern was buffed away like a microscopic swirl mark. The process itself was smoother than a freshly waxed hood under a golden-hour sunset.
My new Mazda doesn't simply corner—it pirouettes. It doesn't accelerate—it composes symphonies in horsepower.
And Miguel - don't think I forgot about YOU. Miguel deserves whatever the dealership equivalent of an EGOT is. If dealerships had Michelin stars, Route 9 Mazda would have four somehow. If Shakespeare wrote owner's manuals, they'd read like Miguel explaining sales terms.
I arrived looking for a vehicle. I departed with a machine, a memory, and the unsettling feeling that every future car-buying experience will now be measured against this one and inevitably come up a few lug nuts short.
Five stars. Zero hesitation. May your tanks stay full, your check engine lights remain forever extinguished, and may Dylan and Miguel continue steering bewildered mortals toward automotive enlightenment.
May the tears flowing from my eyes right now represent the premium synthetic oil that forever lubricates the engine of my soul.
I just want to say the experience I had with my car salesman and the detail department were two different experiences.
I worked with Jeremy Bera over the last two weeks with obtaining a car due to an unforeseen circumstance. Jeremy was extremely understanding of my situation and was able to get the dealership to help me out. On top of that Jeremy was super personable and chill. He didn’t rush me, let me ask my million and one questions and assistances me with what I had to do on my end even after leaving the dealership.
O ln the other hand, the detail department did HORRIBLE job detailing the car. The car was still dirty and pretty much looked like putting makeup on a pig. All they did was take whatever shiner and just wiped it across the whole car, leaving it oily on the inside and outside to where fingerprints can be seen from a distance and slippery on the inside to where I can’t even sit in place. Even with the tire shiner throughout the outside of the vehicle you can still tell that they didn’t not even bother hosing the car down or even thought about wiping the stains clean. The same goes for the inside.
Due to my unforeseen circumstance and time of day nothing was able to be done. Jeremy was visibly annoyed at the fact the detail department did such a horrible job and understood my frustration.
Five-Star Experience – Absolutely Worth the Drive! Best Dealer I’ve Ever Encountered.
I was recommended to Route 9 Mazda by a friend, and even though it’s a 90-mile drive from New York City, it was worth every single mile and more.
From my very first phone call with the Sales Manager, Rex, everything went incredibly smoothly. If you have ever shopped around dealerships in the NYC area, you know the exhausting "games" they like to play—creating artificial urgency, inflating prices, or offering bare minimum discounts. Rex was the complete opposite. Our communication was straightforward and took just a few text messages; he directly gave me an unbeatable price that I simply couldn’t refuse.
Due to my personal schedule, I had to wait until June to officially lease the vehicle. This is where they truly showed their integrity: I had no idea that Mazda’s incentives would improve in June, and Rex easily could have held me to the May pricing we discussed. Instead, he proactively passed the June savings on to me, saving me a significant amount of money.
When I arrived at the dealership, I was immediately impressed. The facility is clean, quiet, and the entire staff is exceptionally polite. I knew right then I had made the right choice.
Rex paired me with Justin Cook as my sales consultant, who was absolute gold. Justin is incredibly polite, soft-spoken, and patient. He answered every single question I had about the car and the lease details without a single hint of impatience. He stayed by my side, guiding the case smoothly until the final delivery. Even when we noticed a minor issue with the car around 6:30 PM, Justin immediately went above and beyond, actively coordinating with the service technicians to get it sorted out perfectly before I left.
The Finance Department was equally impressive. They took the time to explain every single document and contract detail, especially the breakdown of the pricing. There were absolutely no hidden fees, no traps, and no pressure tactics. It was a completely transparent, honest, and harmonious process.
I have been leasing and buying cars for nearly 20 years, dealing with brands like BMW, Lexus, Nissan, and Acura. I never expected that a Mazda dealership would provide the most comfortable, stress-free experience with the absolute best pricing and service.
To my fellow New Yorkers: if you are looking for a Mazda, skip the local games. Do yourself a favor, drive down to Route 9 Mazda, and ask for Rex and Justin. You won’t regret it!
