Extremely Disappointed with AutoZone I received an email stating that my order was ready for pickup, so I drove to the store expecting a quick and easy experience. When I arrived, I was told the item was not actually in stock and was unavailable. This was a complete waste of my time and gas. If an item isn't in stock, don't send customers emails saying it's ready for pickup. The lack of inventory accuracy and poor communication is unacceptable. Customers rely on these notifications, and AutoZone needs to do a much better job managing its inventory system and keeping customers informed. Very frustrating experience and not the level of service I expected.

Not trying to hate on anyone but in general the employees suck. Not willing to help and very lazy. Claim they take used oil. But after seeing the oil wasnt black they couldnt take it 😂 what a joke. It was 15w 30 but it hadn't been used in anything so it was still new looking. They say they "only take used motor oil" and gave me a hard time going back and forth saying "we cant take that" whatever. I went to another Autozone and they had 0 problems and said the Poughkeepsie location was just being lazy and flatout lying as they said they take any oil based product such as motor oil, hydraulic oil, and gear oil (as per NY state law). If they lie about something as stupid as this I definitely wouldnt trust them about anything else. Even someone walking out with me that heard what happened laughed about it and said they were being lazy

Came here looking for that good ole autozone chilli. The staff proceeded to laugh at me and throw wiper fluid at me.It got in my eyes and they now burn. I can’t go anywhere without being laughed at everyone thinks I’m stoned.

I just bought some oil, a really cheap dash phone holder which was supprisingly very cheap, and happens to be probably the best one I've purchased, and I have dozens of phone holders for auto. The associate was friendly and helpful, and I would recommend this location.
