  I wouldn't even give it a 1 star for what just happened to me at the store. One of their employee was bad and called cops on me while I was topping a quart my transmission fluid. As I opened the filler plug for my car to add the transmission fluid. An elderly guy(auto zone customer representative) from the store has came out to me and wanted me to leave immediately, said they posted sign saying not work on their car in the premise very strictly, (which wasn't visible to customers until they go and take a look at it).I told him I am done already and leaving it's not gonna take more than 10 mins. But he didn't listen and called cops on me. The employee was there at the time of purchase and didn't let me know that I can't top off the fluid or add additives in their premises. Which I would've avoided the purchase in the first place. He wants me to add the transmission fluid in O'Reilly's parking lot saying they have a bigger parking lot. As I done adding my fluid I waited for cops I had to give them an explanation and leave which is not all ok for a person having their regular daily life and it ruins their day. The screenshot here clearly says what they actually mean by their policy. Posting it like this online and being different at store would not be a proper thing to do and will be a bad service. I hope that employee alone doesn't ruin their business more like this and all the other customers or me wouldn't be getting treated like this again.

  Went in today and started to tell the guy at the counter that we needed wipers for the car. He instantly cut me off to tell me he doesn't know what kind of car we have. After telling him the make and model, he directed us to the wipers. Coming to check out, I asked if the ones I got would work. No answer. I asked again. He then said Yes. I asked if he could put it on and he said no but that his boss could. His supervisor comes outside with us with the wipers and within less than a minute he confirms that these wipers are not correct. Yes, the ones that I asked about inside. Went to O'Reilly's Auto parts and got the wipers we needed.

  From the moment I walked into the door I was greeted with a smile by Chris. He quickly assessed my situation and gave me great advice on how to move forward even offering me information on my warranty. As a single mother I am so appreciative for the gentleman for going above and beyond and not making me feel inferior or to take advantage of me because I assumed my car trouble to be worst than it actually was. In the end I'm just glad to have received excellent customer service and care. If you are in the Poughkeepsie area and need help definitely go to Autozone. Chris and Dale are ready to help. God bless them both.

  Extremely Disappointed with AutoZone I received an email stating that my order was ready for pickup, so I drove to the store expecting a quick and easy experience. When I arrived, I was told the item was not actually in stock and was unavailable. This was a complete waste of my time and gas. If an item isn't in stock, don't send customers emails saying it's ready for pickup. The lack of inventory accuracy and poor communication is unacceptable. Customers rely on these notifications, and AutoZone needs to do a much better job managing its inventory system and keeping customers informed. Very frustrating experience and not the level of service I expected.
