  An attempt to "upgrade" us yesterday am proved to be an effort to quickly get rid of a cute, red, little brand new but problematic car. While some seniors might have welcomed the opportunity, we felt unsafe after a few minutes. Do these people realize that we customers are indirectly putting our lives in their hands? The woman at the desk commented about the car: "You either love it or hate it." We were given another car, but it reeked of smoke. Since we were in a pinch, we had no choice. They smiled and threw in air freshener -- a gesture of artifice. Also the car made odd noises when accelerating after being stopped at a red light. Maybe we looked gullible. Lastly, the first person we spoke to asked us what we were doing with the car. Nobody at a car rental place has asked us that before. And he asked what we were doing for the Fourth of July weekend? Really? Customer interactions are not opportunities to socialize. Rental agmt. 306269, REF411NFW

  DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!!! NOT UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE MOCKED!! ITS A SYSTEMS FAILURE which is then made 100000% worse by incompetent and aggressive woman at desk (Filomena) Spoke with Enterprise direct this morning - on a 4 day trip out of town to book a car the same day. We went through options in 2 locations but decided to pay more and go to the nearest location (in Port Jefferson). I told the Enterprise customer service that cars were listed at that venue for cheaper through Booking.com - she advised that they do deals and I should book through them. We just arrived to the Enterprise location to experience one of the most unpleasant rude and hostile person who told me there were no cars here and then proceeded to verbally insult me multiple times in front of my 84 year old father and 13 year child. I came out of the office shocked and then read all the other reviews on her. ENTERPRISE - WHY do you allow this????????

  I had a great experience with renting the car however events after my rental were unprofessional and unacceptable. I provided a tax exempt form when renting the vehicle because I was utilizing the rental for work and I work for a nonprofit. A month later I get a call from manager Filomena that they don’t have my tax exempt information. I was on vacation and figured I would handle this when I return. Two days later my card was charged the tax. I find this to be unprofessional being that they lost my form and while she left me a voicemail, I’d think she would grant a bit more grace than 2 days for me to respond before charging me. I called to rectify and got her email to which I emailed her the tax exempt form. Two days later there’s no response and no reversal of the charge so I had to call. I’m really put off by Filomena handling business this way, especially when I provided the tax exempt and her staff made the error of misplacing it. I
