Amazing customer service and truly kind people! I had such a great experience at Mavis Tire. Everyone was incredibly helpful, kind, and understanding. They went above and beyond to help me and even took care of some services without charging me, which I really appreciated.
I especially want to recognize Eddie ,he was absolutely amazing! He was professional, honest, patient, and genuinely cared about helping me. It’s not often you come across someone who treats customers with that level of kindness and respect.
Thank you to Eddie and the entire Mavis Tire team for such a wonderful experience. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this location to my friends and family!

I had a deeply disturbing and hostile experience at this location. I booked the earliest appointment of the day for a New York State inspection, yet my car wasn't touched for over 30 minutes. After a total wait of about 45 to 50 minutes, I was told my vehicle failed inspection due to "rotor rust" and given an exorbitant quote of $695 to fix it.
When I politely declined the repair, the situation degraded into outright harassment by a front-desk employee (a man with a distinctive lip tattoo on his neck):
False Legal Claims & Unlawful Threats: He aggressively insisted that "by law" he was required to scrape off my current inspection sticker, despite the fact that it was still valid through the end of the day. (I have since spoken with both two New York State police officers and two independent repair shops, all of whom confirmed his legal claims were completely false.)
Refusal to Respect Revoked Permission: Even after I clearly stated that I would pay the $37 state inspection fee but explicitly revoked permission for anyone to touch my car further, he repeatedly yelled that he was going to force the issue and scrape the sticker anyway.
Intimidation and Personal Attacks: When I stood my ground, he escalated to hostile taunts, asking, "How much do you want to bet that I'll be scraping it off?" When I countered with $1,000, he escalated further, declaring, "I'll bet you $5,000." He then resorted to personal insults, mockingly asking if I was "going to cry about it."
Only after I stood quietly and refused to be intimidated did he back down, drop his "mandatory law" claim, and allow me to pay the inspection fee without touching my windshield.
This wasn't just poor customer service; it was predatory behavior, verbal bullying, and a complete misrepresentation of state law to corner a customer into an overpriced, unnecessary repair. Management and corporate need to address this employee's conduct immediately.
Do not bring your vehicle here, and know your rights as a driver before setting foot in this shop.
