- TOT OAug 27, 20261.0We bought small battery for our lawn tractor. The sales person at the store convinced my wife that a 200 cca was a good replacement for the 300 cca that we had in the tractor for about 4 years. The new battery lasted 3 months and one week. It's completely dead and won't hold any charge. We attempted to return the battery but the sales person at the store told us that it's only warrantied for 90 days and we bought it 97 days ago. She said that she was very sorry but nothing she could do because the previous sales person sold us the cheapest, most unreliable battery. Lesson learned. Avoid this store. There's plenty of other local places to purchase a battery or other quality auto parts. This place sells junk.

Zack was nice enough to give us the kit on the house! If you need parts for your car and live near this AAP, I definitely recommend you stop in!

He was extremely helpful and got us the best kit to atleast contain the crack. After we put the kit on, Zach came back out front to check up on us and if the kit was working. HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
