Had a great experience. Special shout out to Ernesto. Thank you to the whole team, however, We had a coordinate around a part. An oil filter specifically. And I’ll be honest this is my first time at Mavis for this service specifically(oil change) And it was better than going to competitors. I give credit to Ernesto for making the process seamless with the customer service approach and knowledge.

Had a great experience with Ernie at Mavis. He was extremely professional, attentive to detail and took the time to make sure that everything was done correctly that I needed for my WRX. Went to purchase four new tires and have them installed but didn’t have an appointment. The manager Ernesto was very helpful, polite, friendly and accommodating. At the time, they only had three of the tires in stock and he apologized for this. He ordered the additional tire which was to be delivered in two days. He called me to follow up to advise that the tire was delivered on the date promised and they will have it installed. I am very happy with the overall service experience at this Mavis location.

Rude and dishonest staff. Overall terrible customer service! There has to be dozens of automobile repair shops in the area and I highly suggest you do whatever it takes to go anywhere else to avoid this location. They called to cancel my initial scheduled appointment 15 minutes before the appointment was supposed to begin and since my phone read it as a “spam” call I did not answer and only realized my appointment was cancelled when I walked in the door. I came back the next day and was the only customer there for 2+ hours and they had not even moved my car from the spot I had parked it in. When I politely asked for an update on time - they told me the car was “being worked on now” so I waited an additional 20 minutes to see if the car would get pulled in … but it did not. I ultimately left once a food truck pulled into their lot and the all the staff walked out of their garage. When I had asked for my key back to leave and cancel the appointment the gentleman at the counter tossed it on the counter with no regard, walked into the back and did not say a word about it. Almost 2.5-3 hours for an oil change…

I drove to Mavis in Patchogue after blowing out a tire on a large pothole on the highway. Irv and Tim at Mavis quickly assessed the situation and were able to locate a replacement. While there, they advised I change other very worn tires for safety purposes. While no one wants to pay for new tires unexpectedly, I appreciated their professionalism.
