  Came in yesterday with a screw right near the middle of my tire's tread for a simple patch and removal. The worker claimed the screw was "too close to the sidewall," which was completely false, and immediately tried to push a brand-new tire on me. ​Don't waste your time here. Ever since Heather left and new management took over, this place has been run into the ground. Management is terrible, and they are far more concerned with padding their commission-based pockets than actually fixing your car. ​I took my car straight to Sidney Tire in Unadilla, and they patched it for $20 without any hassle or sales pitch. Go figure, I didn't need a new tire after all. Be careful if you bring your vehicle here.

  I was trying to drive home to Buffalo from New jersey a couple weeks ago. I had the misfortune of suddenly getting a flat on my rear driver's side tire while passing through the Ostego area. Triple A brought me here towards the end of a Friday I think before the shop closed for the weekend. The staff initially couldn't make any promises on being able to help me before the following Monday. That was more than understandable. It was short notice and they had other clients I figured. I was prepared to stay at a hotel for the weekend. They did somehow manage to find a way squeeze me in for a quick tire swap right before close. I was able to get back on the road faster and 1,000% grateful.

  I scheduled an appointment a little over a week in advance and ordered a set of two tires for my vehicle. I arrived early for my appointment and waited in the lobby for approximately 15 minutes before having to locate an employee in the back to assist with checking us in. When we were finally checked in, we were informed that the store had apparently forgotten about our appointment and, in the meantime, had sold the tires we had specifically ordered. We were then provided with a new quote for a different set of tires that happened to be in stock, which was more expensive. I asked whether the original quoted price could be honored, considering the situation was the result of the store’s error. I was told that doing so would result in corporate contacting the store and questioning why the discount had been given. Despite this, we decided to proceed with the more expensive tires. Unfortunately, after waiting another hour and 15 minutes, our vehicle still had not been brought into the service area, despite having a scheduled appointment. At that point, we decided to cancel the service and leave without ever receiving assistance. The experience was particularly disappointing because, when we decided to leave, the primary employee assisting customers remained on the phone without acknowledging us. It was only after another employee intervened that we were able to retrieve our keys and leave. Overall, the lack of communication, organization, and customer service was extremely disappointing. We made an appointment, ordered tires in advance, arrived early, and were ultimately left waiting for over an hour after being given a different set of tires at a higher price due to the store’s own mistake. Based on this experience, I will not be returning and would strongly encourage management to address these issues.
