  Woke up to a flat tire. Called Adirondack Tire. They said to come over, that they could get it looked at and fixed in short order. I went and true to their word, I was in and out quickly. They diagnosed a screw in the tire, removed it and plugged the hole. Their courteous, rapid and affordable service is a rarity these days. Thank you Adirondack.

  The last thing any of us wants to deal with is car maintenance, the time it takes, the obligation, and, especially in this economy, the drain on the wallet. But alas, we need our wheels to keep us on the road! I called around to several local shops, and there are A LOT, but for me and my vehicle, there was no need to look any further. Adirondack Tire & Service had the best price AND no wait. I was able to make an appointment, drive in, and they immediately took my car to the back and got to work. I honestly felt like I barely had a chance to open my book and sit down before they called me up to say it was ready! Okay, that's a slight exaggeration. 😂 But I'm used to expecting an hour or two at places like this. Not here. I was probably in and out in 15–20 minutes. Sarah, the receptionist, was an absolute all-star. Curly was funny, personable, and clearly knows his stuff. And now, Dominic... GIVE THIS GUY A RAISE! He made me feel like I was at a five-star, million-dollar dealership getting my Bentley serviced, and, for the record, I do not own a Bentley! 😂 Dominic was a top-of-the-line mechanic who took care of my car and made sure it was ready to hit the road for a cross-country trip. That kind of care gives you some serious peace of mind when you know you've got thousands of miles ahead of you. I truly love this place and will happily trust them with my family's vehicles. Not simply because of what they provide, but because of the service they give. Great price. Great people. Great service. You've earned a returning customer!

  We were traveling - and on a time constraint - and got a flat tire. Sarah and the guys were AMAZING!!! SO helpful. Got us right back on our way!!

  I brought my car in primarily for an oil change, requesting a few peripheral checks (brakes, wheel bearing, tire rotation) ahead of my upcoming inspection. Unfortunately, there was a severe breakdown of communication. They made it evident they weren't focusing on or had forgotten my requests for those peripheral services, focusing almost entirely on the oil change and a shock replacement instead. Furthermore, they failed to provide a written quote for any of the work—everything was strictly verbal despite multiple requests. While they mentioned a price for the oil change, the communication was ambiguous, and they assumed my approval to proceed without me explicitly giving it, ultimately charging a higher price than I wanted to pay. To make matters worse, the mechanic provided minimal answers and couldn't clearly explain his findings regarding a rear shock leak ("it's all wet"). Because of the lack of written transparency and poor communication, I am taking my car elsewhere for a second opinion before my inspection.
