A Great First Experience at Mavis in Tonawanda!
This was my first visit to Mavis in Tonawanda, and I have to say, it was a great experience from start to finish!
The team took my car in right on time for my scheduled appointment, and everyone was friendly, courteous, and professional. I originally scheduled the appointment for a wheel alignment and wheel balance check. However, after thoroughly inspecting my vehicle, the team explained that the bigger issue was actually worn-out, or "blown," struts, which were contributing to uneven tire wear, poor alignment, and a less-than-smooth ride.
What I appreciated most was that they didn't just tell me what was wrong and hand me an estimate. They took the time to explain the issues, walk me through different repair options, discuss the pricing, and help me understand how each option would improve my vehicle's performance and safety. There was no pressure, just honest communication and helpful recommendations.
Well, let's just say they earned my confidence because I scheduled my next appointment to have the recommended work completed!
After some less-than-satisfactory experiences with Monro and Delta, the friendliness, professionalism, and genuine customer service at Mavis in Tonawanda were a refreshing change. It's nice to walk into a service center where you feel like a valued customer rather than just another appointment on the schedule.

Let me start by saying Danielle is amazing 🤗 very informative. I never have an appointment but always get right in and done quickly. I’ve been here twice, once for a battery and once for an alignment. Danielle always applies discount without having to mention the ones you get online.

Mike and Danielle both were an absolute pleasure to work with, both extremely friendly. Mike made a stressful surprise for me with extra maintenance being needed very stress free! He mentioned interest free financing options! I can't recommend this crew enough. The car came back all fixed up with no more issues and the price was incredibly reasonable. I'm usually one to do my own work on my car, but they made it not worth doing on my own with their great pricing! Thank you again Mike and Danielle, I will definitely be back in the future!

I do not like leaving bad reviews, but when I brought in my tire for a leaky valve (on tires *they* put on just a couple months ago), they tried to upsell me on a part that *they themselves* had already replaced when I had gotten those new tires. After I pointed this out to the receptionist she conveniently never mentioned it again. Then she had to be convinced to give me warranty coverage on the valve replacement, again on their tire that failed, and then asked me to leave a positive review because they "did me a favor" it's not really a favor if I had to ask, you would have charged me for the repair if I didn't bring up the warranty. I will not be coming back here. It's really disappointing as I had a good experience at their Lockport location and wanted to give them my business as the location is convenient for my work. But I'm not interested if they're going to take advantage of people.
