  We had a great experience using Alamo out of the Niagara Falls airport. The Alamo staff had our car ready before our arrival which resulted in minimal wait time. The car was brand new. We didn’t encounter any issues. The location of the car rental within the airport was extremely convenient, right next to baggage claim.

  Car was not clean inside, and windows dirty. Had low screenwash and low tyre pressure messages on dash at start of hire!

  Booked this rental return location for a one way drop off. Opening hours are until 8pm. Got there at 3pm and there was no one there and no signs/instructions anywhere. Rang customer service who advised I leave the key in the drop off box. Drop off box was pretty hard to find as it’s a tiny box in the parking lot. Not pleased as I like to return my rentals in person during opening hours to ensure they’re happy there’s no damage and I return it with a full tank.

  Don’t go here to pick up a car unless you’re here betwen 10:30am-3pm, or landing at this airport. HOURS OF OPERATION IS NOT ACCURATE They’re not open until the first plane lands and the last plane leaves and it varies by day. No warning signs or anything indicated this issue unless you’re inside the airport (which you cannot enter if closed).

  TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE The location advertised is completely misleading. The rental office is NOT actually located at the airport as indicated, and when we arrived, everything was closed. It was a public holiday, yet nobody contacted us beforehand — no email, no call, no warning whatsoever to let us know that we would not be able to collect the car. We were literally left stranded without a car in the middle of our trip in the US, after being taken to an almost completely deserted airport where nobody could help us. I tried calling for assistance and even emergency/customer service numbers, but nobody could properly help or even locate our reservation. Because of this, we were left with no transportation and had to completely change our plans. The whole situation was incredibly stressful and could have easily been avoided with a simple email or message informing us about the holiday opening hours and the actual pickup location. Terrible communication, terrible customer service, and a completely misleading location. I would absolutely NOT recommend booking here. One of the worst rental experiences I have ever had.
