  Volvo Cars Manhattan dealership always offer a great customer experience: from the checkin service of my vehicle, great communication via text message throughout the process(drop off and pick up), the technician video once car is checkin and suggested maintenance services is a great feature. Both of my service advisors:Jahbari and Nelson are very attentive, communicative and resourceful when servicing my Volvo cars. Keep the good work and great customer experience. Mario Tam

  Disappointing experience overall. Brought vehicle in for 50k tune-up and windshield replacement (via insurance). Dealership recommended an additional $7k of “recommended” actions, including some with validity but exorbitant pricing (brake replacement — more than 2.5x cost quoted by top-rated local private shops) and unnecessary (alignment due to uneven tire — one tire was simply much older). Didn’t reset dash alert calling for required service, didn’t clean the adhesive residue (multiple 2” wide tape marks) off of the new windshield.

  I had a great experience leasing my Volvo XC90 from this dealership. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, and responsive throughout the entire process. Whenever I had a question, they got back to me quickly, which made everything smooth and stress-free. I also visited another dealership before coming here, but the experience was completely different. There, no one even acknowledged me when I walked in, and it took a long time to get responses to my emails. That made my decision easy. Although it was a little inconvenient to take an Uber to the Manhattan location, I’m very glad I chose this dealership. The excellent customer service made the extra trip well worth it. I highly recommend them.

  They are top notch if you have unlimited funds to maintain your car, but their policy is to sell you full replacement parts vs fixing the issue only. For example, they wouldn’t swap a battery out of an on call navigation system but rather would only replace the entire module for $1,200, and instead of addressing a gasket on the drive train, they would only put in an entirely new drivetrain for $4,500. I’m taking the car to a certified Volvo repair shop to address key issues vs major component replacement. Generally they also extend labor hours on each item. The service is high quality, but really expensive.

  I initially gave this dealership a 1 star review, but I'm updating it to 5 stars. While my first impression wasn't great. I waited about 40 minutes, and the delay left me feeling frustrated and stressed. Eric and the rest of the team (Ivo) ultimately showed they genuinely care about their customers and have good intentions. Although I didn't end up purchasing a vehicle here, I appreciated how everything was handled afterward and wanted my review to reflect the overall experience more fairly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dealership to others.
