  Rented from Sixt for the first time and got hit with a damage claim over 2 weeks later for tire damage that was already there before my rental started. Before renting, I saw a lot of people online warning about situations like this and recommending you take detailed photos/videos of everything before leaving the lot. I’m very glad I listened, because my photos clearly show the damage already existed. I rent cars regularly and have never had this happen with any other rental company. Definitely document EVERYTHING if you rent from them.

  I had a really smooth experience with Sixt. The pickup process was quick, the staff were professional, and the car was in excellent condition. What stood out the most was how helpful and responsive they were. Everything was clearly explained, and the overall service felt organized and efficient. The return process was also straightforward, with no unnecessary delays. I would definitely rent from Sixt again and recommend them to others looking for a reliable and hasslefree rental experience.

  I recently rented from the Sixt NYC local Chelsea location— the entire process was seamless, efficient, and genuinely stress-free. Ruth handled both my pick-up and return, guiding me through every step clearly, and with ease. She was not only highly capable, but also a pleasure to interact with. Danielle, who assisted at return, was equally courteous and efficient, ensuring a smooth and quick close-out. They are both a credit to Sixt and to their profession—a much-appreciated breath of fresh air. Their level of service alone ensures I won’t be considering other rental options moving forward. Overall, an outstanding experience. Many, many thanks to the team at Sixt Chelsea, especially Ruth and Danielle.
