  Not my first time renting from SIXT, but my first time renting from this location. Was great! Pickup was quick and easy. Dropoff also quick and easy. Staff were helpful and pleasant for both. Car was great. Everything exactly as I’d hoped for a hassle-free rental.

  Pick-up was not smooth. The many email prompts to check in and save time were met with a non-functioning automatic pick-up. Would not recommend.

  This was my first time renting from the Sixt Chelsea location. The location is small however they have a good system for pick up and drop off. Curious to see if it will remind this way when they get busier. I do appreciate that they are a 24 hour drop off garage. During drop off Tim was professional, respectful, and courteous. Definitely will be renting from them again.

  I hardly take the time to actually write reviews, but I'm left fuming after SIXT's lack of attentiveness to me after charging me $39 for having the gas tank 1/8 empty upon return. I filled the tank up outside of Manhattan in Queens about 1.5 hours before returning it. If you know NYC, there are hardly any gas stations so I figured Queens would work. I don't know what else I could have done. Call SIXT to say I filled it up as much as possible from the gas station? I sent proof of credit card transactions from the gas station, yet I was still charged the additional $39. So a total of $52 on gas for a day trip to Long Island from Manhattan. I think what was most surprising is how unhelpful the SIXT agents were. One said that Booking had to help because I booked through Booking, which was later deemed untrue. Then, another agent told me to send gas receipts to an email address. I didn't keep those so I sent the credit card proof. No response. I'm not generally an unhappy person, but I feel that I have no choice here. I will gladly modify my review if this is resolved. I will say that the gentleman who helped me check in was friendly and helpful. Even if charging for 1/8 of a tank left was justified via the rental agreement, they charged $39?! That's absurd.

  Tom and Paul went out of their way to help me and troubleshoot for my rental. They were great! Will be renting here again.
